What is amusing about Master B. stoking the fire here is this is precisely what his beloved LW did with Dalglish, Keegan, and RASE last year - shared a few players across his teams. Master B. you were ok with it back when LW did it, why is it an issue for you if AR does this now? At least with AR these three were rostered on both teams - LW didn't even do that.

Nocrying - kudos to you for recognizing it isn't worth looking like a sore loser like melamammas and ms.m. You guys have a good team and I expect that will be proven again as summer tourneys play out.

I gave/give no excuses. We lost. Ironic that's what you took from my post. Keep it in perspective. I am extremely proud of our girls and will not stoop to your level of forum discussion. Things taken out of context are very easy to argue.

oh wow another first post. Since you joined last month that is some top notch info you have on last "year". May want to double check it though. I don't have excuses for loses because a loss is a loss. If you want the breakdown of a game I can give you that but it still doesn't change the outcome. I know you are my biggest fan but I can see the envy from here so you can leave me and my team out of this one. Nothing at all to do with us.

We were very excited to join the Dallas Texans - claims were made that players would be fairly disbursed. Rosales had 13 players on his "B" team bench yesterday and we have 2 subs. Period. That does NOT demonstrate player disbursement.

Yesterday at the game we had a player down on the field crying because of an elbow to the throat. Rosales parents openly cheered the player that was involved WHILE our player was still down. Want to talk class? Start there.

If you think all this DT squabbling, in-fighting, and drama is bad now, just wait a year or two down the line as their teams get closer to select.
Pull up a chair and grab some popcorn. History tells us this is going to get interesting!

I was merely commenting on a previous post that had said Manchester and Utd share players! This was made by a Texan coach/parent so have a problem with them, not me! As has been said, the whole Texan drama is going to become a real fun ride. Y'all enjoy!

As to LFCA teams sharing rosters, I believe that this no longer happens. As the kids get older the various teams need their own identity and players need to find the right level for their individual skills. My DDs team has benefitted from players dropping down to her team which strengthens and improves her and the teams level of play. I wouldnt be that happy if a couple of kids kept taking playing time from her if they were already playing for, say RASE, just because their parents wanted them to have extra touches!

Unfortunately it's part of soccer or youth sports in general. The primary reason for my post is I'm tired of our coach and team being unjustly ridiculed. Our girls and coach work just as hard as the others. You should all be commended for the commitment, time and money that you put forth for your daughters. Set an example for them. The smack talking has really gotten out of hand.

Fever is ok with being overrated. Maybe we are. We are used to it and like flying under the radar but today and for our past few tourneys, we can say "scoreboard."

That is true. I do not know if Fever are overrated, but me personally, I like to see the play, not the final score. I believe the last tournament Fever was drummed on the field by Dalglish. How Fever managed a 1-1 draw instead of a 6 or 7-1 loss is beyond me. If I remember right, Fever only saw the other half of the field one time in the second half. But enjoy your "scoreboard". I'll keep watching the play.

I'm surprised at the Fever vs. Liverpool Barnes score! I expected a 4-3 type game. Was the wind a big factor?

I don't have a beef with Dalglish or Barnes or any other team for that matter. If you read my recap of the Legends tournament, I said that we were fortunate to tie Dalglish and said that you guys as well as Keegan had improved. I wouldn't exactly say we were "drummed." Liverpool has like what, 100 competitive and Academy teams? Fever has about 10 total. So we feel very fortunate to be able to be mentioned in the same breath as the larger clubs and will enjoy any success/failures as they come. We want to improve and play against "top teams" to be able to remain competitive. I'm sure that our coach would welcome a scrimmage or round robin against Dalglish/Keegan/Barnes/the DT teams, etc should we not all be in same tournament in the near future. We've actually done it before with you guys.

KennyP, will Fever play in the Legends tourney? I don't know for sure since my DD is on an '05 team... but I'm guessing most of the Liverpool '04 teams will be playing. It would be great to see your girls there as they play outstanding soccer!

I thought Fever was playing in Pt Cup week before no?
