One could argue about being to windy, to hot, to wet, to cold, etc. But again, it affects both teams the same
when they're both out there. Is not like Feeters were playing with a wind protector of some sort.

I totally disagree...soccer is not about "goals" unless ALL you care about is winning. I would rather my kid play with skill and possession. Even if their team lost because the other team had their girls just kick the ball every time it came to them to some big footed girl up top who just happen to get it in the goal more times than we could.

Tell that to the US national team at last World Cup. Great skills, great passing and more shots. Better control and awesome coordination. More shots on goal.
Japan, boring and ugly and just terrible game won the cup. I'd take the win over the so called beautiful soccer. Agree to disagree.

Believe me referee, I do live in a zoo. Between my 10 yr old dd and 8yr old ds, things are very wild!! oh..the worst of them all is the 46 yr old "child" that also lives here.

My predictions were spot on, as always!

Gio was the only one to advance, and barely as a wildcard. The other 3 play ugly boring long ball soccer.
Guess we'll have horrible semis and finals. So let's remember to mention the ones that play beautiful, skilled, precise, knowledgeable soccer. The ones that have better skill and should be there, but, AHEM, just couldn't quite make it. Must've been the wind.

I've been knocked out? Sarcastic is the word. I was merely rooting for the underdog and the underdog won. But some people here can't handle it. They want it to be businness as usual. What would you suggest to add better visibility into game reports? Are you are a proponent of less detail per game? If that's the case, why have a forum discussion about games at all? I am not picking on you whatsoever. I'm not arguing for passing is best or direct ball is best. I agree that the score does matter. I'm hoping that the forum simply gets more interesting over time, not an partisan argument with entrenched camps.

No worries... I think what referee meant to say is that he won't post anymore as referee...

Good luck to all the teams advanceing in playoffs . OurTeam didn't make it though to playoffs;'( however I love a good underdog story. The lil engine that could will and can type thing. Good luck to all the lil ladies playing and may the best team playing some soccer win.

Congrats to the young ladies on S Gio. Due to my job , I was able to meet some of the young ladies on this team last night and regardless of what everyone here might says these lil ladies were excited and the joy in thier eyes as they explained how they won in order to be the wildcard slot is awesome. Even though my daughter and our team didnt advance as a parent I can say this win is awesome for the whole team and those 3 young ladies I talk to who so greatly represented the enthusiasm and excitement that comes with playing and winning in a tournament . Congrats on the win ~ a mom from Texas spirit.
