Nothing at all, it just say's a bunch about the state of your team. I'd hate to see the DTN results when Scott has a tournament scheduled the same day.

Well said Go. I couldn't agree with you more. She helps that team win games, but I don't think she makes the other girls better overall players.

I wanted to see if anyone would congratulate us on our championship but I guess because we used a few guest players and defeated an 05 Rase team we get no props right? This sucks...congrats to us then darn it!! More to come, just watch...

If this is true, it makes sense what happened this weekend. They won the first game on Saturday against us and she looked great, but lost the second game against Pride. I wasn't there, but people who saw the game mentioned that she looked very tired even though Spirit has a lot of subs. Not saying the rest of Spirit isn't a good team, but she is exceptional.

they are a solid team but she carries waaaay too much of the work load. It is not allowing the other girls to step up and do things and she is not learning to play inside of a team. At no point could you pick out her position. She was winning balls, defending, up top, just everywhere. Definitely not her fault, she is definitely a competitor and fought like crazy to win (it was impressive) But its not learning to play and eventually it starts to hurt you. It can feel great to be the stud on the team but eventually it starts to hurt you

A talented competitor like that should only play for... say... RASE 04?

I have to disagree. She does make the team better and therefore makes her teammates better. They practice with her every week. From the defensive perspective practicing against a player like that will only improve the opposing player. As I recall, TX Spirit was the only team to hold RASE to 4 goals and that was using a new GK that hasn't played the position for over two years. In addition, she is a very unselfish player and has great vision. By no means is playing with TX Spirit diminishing her skills and knowledge of the game.

Congrats to the girls Kix, was looking forward possibly getting to play you guys in the final but layed a fat goose egg against RASE 05. We had to settle for third place after beating Solar Gold.

Never said she should play for RASE but she should play somewhere that she is told plays an actual position. I am sure she does do great for the TX spirit girls in practice but I was only talking about what it does for her. But I have only seen her once and in that game she did not play a position she was everywhere all at once. Maybe it was just that game.

As far as the "holding" rase to 4 I think that is a overstatement. I don't think the spirit game was any different or better than the Scott game or the Kenn game. And nothing wrong with your goalie, She did a great job making saves and couldn't have changed the outcome.

Just curious Kix, you wouldn't happen to be SweetFeet99's amped up alter ego would you? He sure got quiet the same day you got loud. And i noticed a girl on DTN that I thought I had seen in a sting uni before. I'm sure i'm probably wrong. But it is an interesting coincidence.
