You seem to be a little more active now that Feet are rising to the top. Looks like you jumping on the Feet bandwagon now. LOL.
Just messing with you.

Socrocks please fill this guy in on how Feet will knock the snot out of all teams from this day forward. Is Feet close to being Grand Champions or is that not in cards? 96 D1 Standings Icon_king

I know. Actually, the whole 96 age group has been very dead on here for the last few months. I actually used to chime in more when we were towards the bottom of the pack!

Our actual finish could go a lot of ways. We still have to get by a very tough game this weekend with Revolution. If we do that, we will have to see what happens with Sting/Solar and Texans/Mustangs to determine our place. I think everyone will agree that Texans should get the 3 points from the Spirit game.

I am just glad no 97 teams are sneaking in the league!!!!

Feet knock the snot out of everybody? Not likely....remember, we just lost to lowly 97s.
I have to think Sting pulls it out. Texans probably p/u 2 wins and get 2nd. Even if Feet wins vs Rev, we'd likely lose the tiebreaker to Texans.
The only way Feet could win GC (all 3 have to happen):
Feet beats Rev...reasonable
Texans tie/lose to either Mustangs/Spirit....possible
Sting loses to Solar....iffy

Do you really think that is possible in Red?

What difference does the jersey color make?

You are right they have no chance of losing to either team. Sorry Feet.

They don't have to lose to either of the teams....just tie one of them. A tie to Mustangs is not out of the question. Not likely, but possible.

Don't they have to play in a playoff to determine who gets to stay and who gets dropped to D2?

6. Ties Between Teams to Determine a Bye:

For all ages, points earned in head-to-head play over the entire soccer year will apply. Playoff games will be played between any teams who cannot be eliminated in the head-to-head tiebreaker. The number of games and nature of the playoff will be determined by the LHGCL board. Playoff games must have a winner, i.e., if the game ends in a tie, two 10 minute overtimes will be played, then if still tied, FIFA kicks from the penalty mark will be taken to determine the winner.

a. Teams Tied in Grand Champion Points in Division I:

(1) If two teams are tied in points to determine who shall receive a Bye(s) into Division I and who will be relegated to Division II, only head-to-head competition will be used to break the tie. If the two teams are tied in head-to-head competition, a playoff game will be played between the two teams to determine who will receive the Bye into Division I.
