Re: 95 d3...
Situation: Solar White, FWFC down from DII
DIII finish order
3. Solar Blue
4. Sting West Royal
5. Texans Wht
6. Polaris Blue
Facts (maybe):
-Solar White retianed bye - Goes to former Hurst United.
-Solar Red DII bye goes to Solar Blue.
Questions:
-FWFC did not keep 75% so loses bye? does that mean Polaris Blue receives bye to DIII?

If memory serves me from when WF Express didn't make, the forfeighted bye adds another openning for the QT and does not bring back a relegated ( relegated to QT I mean ) D3 team.

Re: 95 d3...
stayed together and went to another club (A la FWU/Solar Red,
Revolution/FCD) and a few others. Is solar blue getting Solar Red's D2
bye, or are they promoted by virtue of being 3rd in d3 and the d2 bye
is just gone opening another spot in d3 is the real question. Good luck
ranking anything around the bottom and figuring out who's still who,
and what is what. That Player movement thread couldn't have remotely
prognosticated the club/team/player roulette that June turned out to
be.

Solar Blue gets the Solar Red bye moving to DII, FWUFC Gold has their own DII bye with 75% transfer rate, and becomes Solar Red. Hurst becomes Solar White in DIII and doesn't have to go to QT, and FWFC, keeps it's club bye in DIII. The new Sting West team lead by former FWFC coach has to go to QT, but is looking good, albiet, it is still QT where anything can happen. If they get through that they may be a force to reckon with in DIII. Always remember as of now, the club retains the bye, a team moving keeps 75% or is gone. Therefore the moving teams can maybe take only 4 this year despite a strong turnout at open practices.

Re: 95 d3...
Tha rumor says not really a lot of FWFC white players at sting o'keefe. Meanwhile judging from the 9000 open workouts we've hit in the last week... FWFC should make. So that leaves 5

Polaris Blue
FCD Blue
Sting O'keefe
Sting Silver

FWFC has 2-3 players left from last year. Rumor is FWU's players from Arlington division teams last year have been going to FWFC open practices and are hoping to get on the team.
Good Luck to all players still looking this is a very stressful week if you don't have a team or confirmation from a coach.

Re: 95 d3...
I see they are added to the Got Soccer U-16 age group already & play a 94 API & tourney schedule.
The 95 QT will be a challenge this year.
Hopefully all coaches will treat all the players fairly and honestly this signing season!

Re: 95 d3...
I thought that the league frowned on this:Polaris Wht 95 trying to qualifying for LHGCL '94, what is the point there really?
Rule III.2.l " All teams must participate in their proper age division. No team will be allowed to “play up” during the soccer year unless special scheduling for the age division is provided by the Age Division Commissioner. All special scheduling must be approved by the LHGCL Executive Board."

Re: 95 d3...
I think they signed 3 or 4 96 players also.owngoal wrote:My understanding is Polaris 95 white is signing 94's. I heard they picked up a couple of 94's off a Lake Highlands 94 team. The 95 white team had been competing in the 94's with some success and this gives the club a team in each age group. Got Soccer says they got most of their points playing 94's. There is no easy path into Lake Highlands in the 95's or 94's. Good luck all.

Re: 95 d3...
Unofficially 5 in my mind. Looking at the Solar Web site no team joined without it's own bye except Hurst United which takes Solar White, so the Solar Blue DIII spot is thrown into the pot as they moved to DII with a club opening, unless someone knows anything different?metro wrote:So was anyone able to figure out how many spots are available for D3?

FWFC kept it's bye, albiet different girls for the most part, but again, the club has the bye to keep unless the team can transport 75% to the new club and it did not.
