FBR 07 February 23rd, 2017

Updated 07 FBR as of 2/22/17. Only 07 teams with 3 or more games since 10/31/16 are included in the FBR published rankings. All games in the U10 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included.  07 vs 07 games in U11 division are also now included.  The crazy AP switch is behind us, so 07 teams playing up have been playing as pure 07s.  IF FBR07 gets wind an 07 team plays with 06s on their roster, that specific game or potentially all of those games in higher division will be removed for that team.

PT and PIT have started league play, UAL starts this weekend.  There are probably 35-40 teams not on the list at the moment due to not having 3 games.  Also, fall games are pretty much dropped off, so over the next few weeks more consistency should be seen in the rankings, especially with teams that didn't play many tourneys.

Note:  FBR07 will take a vacation week, next week, to rest up for the push to QT.  Normal weekly rankings (and a tier listing) will resume the week of 3/6 and continue through LH QT, at which point I will retire.  I will also publish an updated team listing near the same time. If your team wants to PM me, I can include if you plan on qualifying for LH/PPL or if you are JDL etc.  With 2 more weeks of spring leagues and fall dropping off, we should get a better picture of the rankings.

Remember, ranking points are derived from who you play and their tier(not your own tier) and, how well the teams you play do.  As always regulation scores are used for FBR, not OT and no PKs that determine game result(if known).  FBR is presented as W/L/T not W/T/L.  While BWGophers consults, advises and offers technical advice, this FBR is the sole representation of FBR07,  any and all complaints(and compliments) should be directed to FBR07.  These rankings use the same software and criteria as with all prior year FBRs.

PT had originally posted an incorrect score. I was made aware, corrected and updated the rankings.

Word around the soccer fields is the top Solar team, springate/Colvin will be loosing kids to the two coaches 06 teams. What does this mean for the landscape?

@justbecause2017 I'm not affiliated with Solar but that makes no sense. Why would they "loose" them? Doesn't solar have kids playing on multiple teams within their club? Landscape will stay the same with the top teams like FBR listed above battling it out and getting better, which will manifest itself in a really cool competitive environment with parody, because of the great coaches in the age group who have or are building their teams. If solar were to canabalize themselves just to make their 06 teams good, in my opion that would be a silly move, but those guys are smart (I think) and would do no such thing.

If Solar was too loose any players, then the parody you speak of would become a mute point. In my opion, to many people worry about others instead of they're own team. The affect is worser as time goes buy.

Mute? I think you mean "moot". Even if solar lost players, and their team, the parody( meaning balance of teams at the top that are competitive with each other) still exists in the age group. Nguyen, kicks, FCD, Flanagan, solar (formerly lfs).

Sorry, only 07s are ranked in the 07 rankings. 08 teams have never, and will not be ranked with the 07s.

Which of these 07 coaches are good at developing their players? It appears that most kids pay lots of money for a club coach, but also have to pay extra for someone else to actually train/develop them.

I think you missed the irony and sarcasm implicit in jogobonito06's post...we should also clarify the use of "parity" vs. "parody" on this thread while we're at it...
