FBR10 Rankings April 18th, 2018

Updated 10 FBR as of 4/18/18. Only 2010 teams with 3 or more games played since 10/28/17 are included in the FBR published rankings. All games in the U9 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included.  

***Please be aware that 4v4 games are NOT included***

FBR09 will include 2010 games that are played in the U9 Division.  We can only count 7 v 7 games. When the new season starts in the Fall all the 09 games will eventually drop and we will only include 2010 games.  If you happen to play up in the Fall those games will not count towards the FBR rankings.

Also, ranking points are derived from who you play and their tier(not your own tier) and, how well the teams you play do.  As always regulation scores are used for FBR, not OT and no PKs that determine game result(if known).  FBR is presented as W/L/T not W/T/L.  This FBR is the sole representation of FBR09,  any and all complaints(and compliments) should be directed to FBR09.  These rankings use the same software and criteria as with all prior year FBRs.

Feel free to PM or email if you think there is an error with your team or if you have any questions.  Please be patient if your team is not on the list.  We were trying to get something out for the 2010 Parents to enjoy.  GotSoccer is generally used to determine team name/coach/club, please message me of any recent changes.

Will be even more interesting when these teams are more consistently playing each other and aren't using '09 players. Many of them are using '09 players from sister teams due to the fact they're playing up in order to play 7v7 rather than 4v4. Maybe some of the spring tourneys will allow for some more pure match-ups.

Who is using 09 players that u know of?? Just curious. Colvin??? Samba???

I don't specifically know about those two teams. But, I do know about some others. The rules allow for it and the 10 DDs are probably developing even more by playing against and with '09s. However, surely it impacts the FBR, especially when a "10" plays a "10". The '09 group didn't have that issue a year ago, because it wasn't until this past fall when the leagues implemented 4v4 with no goalies per US Soccer guidance. For the most part, the '09s played '09s when they were U-8, except for the very top team(s).

Solar 10G Colvin doesn’t and has never used 09’s on our team. We didn’t when we played 4v4 and haven’t since we started 7v7 in November either. I can’t speak for Samba but they’ve never used an 09 in any game we’ve played them. I know her 10’s play up but not the other way around to the best of my knowledge.

Samba and Colvin already have top teams in the 09 division as well as other teams in the league, there will be no reason for the 09s to play on the 10s team...

Sting North 11 can’t go in these rankings? We’ve competed against and beaten many of them.

You got another year or so, has to be 7 v 7 according to FBR

Right...

Samba never uses ‘09. Wouldn’t make much sense.
Their big sisters are getting it honest and they will follow suit.

Thanks for the update FBR. I also know of 2 teams on this list that use "09" players on their 10" team, good thing the U90 tournament is coming up you can't use older girls.

u90 tournament will be interesting since it's age pure, 1 more week to go.

Agreed 100%. I know 4 teams, 2 of which are top 10 teams that use 3-4 09’s in their games. 18 does have 1-2 on that team for sure as stated. We actually talked to the team when we played them. They only had 7 core 10’s, so understandable being they wanted the 7 aside experience. We are excited to see how a few of the non club names do. 10’s have good talent coming up.

Shooters for one. I mean look at a few of the other teams recent games played vs some of the top 10. It gets pretty interesting. I feel they are ranked low due to maybe the 4v4 explanation listed in the original text, but they have talent.

I say 7-8 ofthose teams aren’t big clubs, right? I’m just familiar with the big clubs that are around a lot. Maybe I was mistaken.

I agree, great group playing up with the 09s(7v7) using only "10s". (no 09s)

For the record...Samba only fields ‘10s. Never used or uses ‘09 players.
Not even when the girls play up.

Yes this should be interesting for sure. DT have speed everywhere it seemed and will be hard to beat. We watched the second half of the Sting vs Sting semi and that was a battle. I think Salvidar Sting definitely had the edge but they tied and went into pk’s to determine the winner. Very exciting without doubt. Siragusa/Shooters were good games too. 10’s May be bringing some action packed games ahead!

Not sure....you'd have to ask FBR09.

Shouldn't be much of a shift....soon it'll be tough for Samba to stay in the rankings if they move to strictly '09's and or boys. If that happens and Solar Colvin doesn't follow suit...then they probably would be number 1...that's a solid team and coach.
