I wonder how much of that has been directly shared w/ Santos and FCD.  Seems like pockets of both rosters might view this is a positive, but surely lots of anxiety about where the dominoes would fall for everyone.  Both are really good teams already...

does santos merge w/ FCD
does santos bring in a new coach and team stays in tact
likely doesn't happen anyway

highly doubtful that anyone on either team would view this as a positive

I heard Santos goalie is U9. He is amazing and a game changer, especially if he younger
Looks like he can't play last 4 games in JCL or move up to Select with the team???

• A 9U (2010) may play up to 10U. Only (5) 9U may be on a game day roster. Remember 9U players will not be eligible for competitive soccer in 2019 / 2020 soccer year.
9U (2010) PLAYERS NOT ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN TEAMS LAST (4) GAMES IN SPRING

NTX Santos stood there ground lost 1-0 vs fcd academy team and tied fcd Adrian 1-1 not bad . Allegiance as expected took care of business in group A no surprise,
there, Dallas Texans south lost 7-0 vs garland tigeres ,
Someone told me they no longer have a team anymore

I heard the same about TX S.

Group A and Group D are the weakest by far with top team not really being challenged.
Group B -TBD as the 2 top still have not played each other
Group C is toughest - FCD Jr Academy top team, Santos , FCD Adrian

Does anyone know how they are calculating the ranking points?
I couldn't find any info on JCL- and not surprised.

Classic uses: 3 - 1 - 0
JCL is not using 3pt or 10pt system so any help understanding would be great.

How did Santos stand their ground if they lost?
Texans South lost the last of its players to fcd Adrian but then again you will see them dual roster. Thus the 0-7 loss to G- tigres on Sat then come back Sun with a 16-0 win.

I agree about group C being the toughest...But Group B is weak. The only top team in that group is the Tigres...Zenith didn't score a goal in 2 games last weekend....FCD Blue couldn't beat anyone in the league challenge...The only reason The Tigres lost to Zenith was their best players were playing for Solar South at the same time.

Here we go again:

"What The Frisco":
RED and BLUE will be mixed to before the roster freeze to "guarantee" both teams make it classic league. Which families will stay? You've been "catfished".

"heard it from the grapevine":
There are a couple of top 10 teams that may choose to sitout of Classic League Qualifiers. Where are they going?

"things kids say":
daddy didn't like the deal out of Toyota Stadium. so he'll keep his MF player in tiger stripes. Who didn't see this coming?

"Sure. you'll start":
There is a coach maxing out his roster.
Shh...he doesn't want you know his plan to split and make two teams. Hint: Why does he insist in calling it PreDA?

It’s nice scores are tricking in earlier these days ... still some big gaps in what’s been reported , but early surprise ... santos lost to fcd west ... 2 good teams - but maybe an upset ?

I heard FCD Adrian totally dominated this game, other than a couple of break away goals early by Santos.
I guess rough dirty fouling play will only get you so far when playing a more technical team.

with the continued talk of high profile team coaching changes, seems like we're in store for a wild spring and chaos leading to July 1...could def see a few of the current top teams losing core kids or losing their teams altogether.

I saw a few of Zenith's players, including their best player moved to FCD Kang.

Anyone know who is going to coach FCD Red?

I agree there is going to be a lot of movement.

Red coach is the biggest mystery it seems...there is likely no good answer - and no matter who it is, there will be an impact...especially if he an outsider and might have an existing team / players following him over

it would make sense for the powers that be in frisco to do something soon to the red roster. many of those kids likely play up next year if they stay in house and the club does what they historically do with their top players. the classic league bye would go away if the roster does not have 50% + 1 players returning for classic league.

blue only a game back in their division. it would be possible for fcd to get 2 of the 4 byes if they could surpass tigres. should be an interesting few weeks over there.

Whoever comes to coach the FCD red team will be working with a high level team. It will be interesting to see how that team continues to develop as they move forward under a new coach.

If they lose the 2 additions they just got this season, that team drastically changes...But knowing FCD they will just pluck 2 kids from other teams.

Agree the new additions are both very strong players. I have no idea if they plan to leave or will stay. I also agree if a player left that team FCD would still be an attractive option for many players.

North Texas "Cut Throat" Youth Soccer is political, unfair, coach/club centered and hinders true development.

This forum is a testament to it!!
