@ Losblancos7 I wouldn’t say lost one of the best players because Samba 10s are all beast players. Lost a player!

Thanks man. She deserves all the credit for putting in the daily work and enjoying the process. Really proud of her. As far as the video, I’m an amateur and just learned the software but thought I did a decent job with it given I’m still learning.

Got say she is a stud. A definite baller. You can see it in her movements. She’s tiny but fiesty and aggressive.  Is she a 2010? And she plays for Texans Samba? From what I could remember they had really good forwards. Would love to see her go against my DD.

Yes #2. But she is close to mid field and sends the ball thru to the 2 forwards who get the ball and create a shot. Ball hits the post. You gotta have some good range to send a shot from there at 9 years old. Even though she’s doing it now taking shots between the midfield and the build out line. That was a game during the summer and her range was not quite there yet to have a shot from there. But I’m sure now she’ll launch it. Like in this clip from the Turkey tournament vs SD Surf

I do think it's neat that you put this together for her (I do hope it was genuinely for her and not to very mildly impress soccer forum ifriends). Something she'll cherish especially when she's older, I'm sure.

Definitely made it for her. She is the only starter that plays the entire game. She does not get subbed out only on the easy games where we blow out the other team, coach will sit her down. At super copa she played all the games with no rest.

No I noticed he mentioned mildly. But like I said til they face each other. His DD is good but I’m sure mine will shut her down. Like she does to all the players out there and how she shut down all Solar Colvin players that went 1v1 against her. Lol

Just having some fun. Luis claims the center back he's raised is the greatest 1v1 player in Cali (or is it the country?). So good that Solar was totally "shut down" despite getting two past her when knocking her team out in the semifinals.  
Ain't gonna let anybody from Cali jump in here and talk smack without giving at least a little passive-aggressive pushback that he's clearly begging for.

No Solar scored on our left and right backs. No one scored on her even when she was playing the CB position. She plays CM and CB. She shut down every single player she went up against. So yea we did lose 2-0 and so did the Texans. But she never lost her own battles. Never does. Only time she lost a few battles was when we played the top 2010 boys team of the state they beat us 6-0 and she won 90% of her 1v1 battles. She be doing the same thing to the best 2010 boys in the country. Her forte is winning balls. A natural defensive phenom. She creates offense from her defense. While there may be a few other girls that can cut better than her while dribbling. 1v1 she will shut them down with her D and use her faints to get by them. All good though. I don't get upset. I like a good battle. Fun for me too.

yeah I feel you. I tried to insult him yesterday but he doesn't bite. must be some kinda Canadian Mormon who migrated to SoCal or something. he also doesn't seem to realize that calling his own daughter the GOAT can be taken the wrong way. innocent fun I guess. I think him and I have accidentally become buds now lol. only reason I didn't like his initial GOAT comments is because whilst I was at surf cup this past summer the arrogance of the SoCal parent were off-putting as heck. been waiting on next summer ever since.

Ah. Soccer. The sport where those pesky teammates can really let down a true unicorn. I feel ya. Fortunately for your girl you seem like the kinda guy that's pretty level headed about things.

Side note... In your latest video, your girl quite nicely nicks the ball 5 or 6 times off what I assume are very good players. A half dozen tackles in a game where you shipped 6 goals doesn't seem to add up to 90%, though. The numerator goes over the denominator.

Look guys, my daughter can't be everywhere on the field. Soccer is a team sport. Every the team that has a Messi on the team will get beat. I'm out here seeing who are the top 2010 teams and girl players in the country for the 2010 division. I'm waiting for that video wit that player that has both the defense and offense to give my daughter a run for her money. Most the good players have one or the other. My daughter you can say is the best defender and a really, really good offensive player. The video of the Texan CM shows a really, really good offensive player that is quick and can cut really well while dribbling even better than my daughter. And many of the girls on our team can look like all stars against a team they blow out 15+ goals. I'd like to see some footage of her playing a team like Solar and running through players like that. Then you really got my attention. My daughter uses the faint move over the cutting move when getting by players. And like I said her forte is winning balls. Defensive minded first. Steals the ball and she takes off with a counter attack. She loves to pass the ball and make plays. I tell her to be more of a ball hog but she won't do it on offense only on counter attacks. Lets see the videos of your best players going against the top teams. That's what I'm showing in mine.
