Dirty Teams
1. Came into the game with a red card player from previous game.
2. Got two more red cards against players during our game.
3. Had coach get a red card during our game.
4. Had the refs call the game 4-5 minutes early after yet another egregious foul.
5. Had players on the field calling our bench the N word among other terms. (We have 3 minority kids on our team)
I get that these kids are now U16 and play can be physical. There is still a difference between physical and dirty.
FYI, I know it would be up to our coach and manager to file any protests. Also FYI, the other team had about 5 yellows and our team got 1 yellow in the game. We had one player with possible concussion. We won the game.
I just wonder if there is a process for discipline and if anyone can detail what it is

Re: Dirty Teams
North Texas will turn a blind eye to this.
The players and parents are just “passionate” during the game.

I fear you're right. If they cared, this team would have been disciplined before now. I hope they don't seriously hurt anyone. I am told North Texas Soccer has insurance for injury so there's always that

And don’t get me started on sideline etiquette.
Most teams’ family members sit facing across from their teams.
Some teams have parents that intentionally get their early, to scatter all along the sidelines.
Our last year of Classic League.
So weathering this storm for my youngster is a walk in the park.

Re: Dirty Teams
Let's go down your list of complaints;
1. Red Card rules vary in tournaments, be assured that the refs were aware. Whether they policed the game more tightly is another question?
2. Sounds like the refs tried calling the game more strictly.
3. So far everything points at the coach being a master soccer tactician and builder of young mens character?
4. Cutting it off early actually sounds reasonable under the circumstances.
5. This is a serious accusation and goes to show to always have a cell phone handy and recording!
Those who read our posts know of our open criticism of reffing in North Texas. It's not that the reffing style has changed, physicality is simply encouraged over skill- since as a whole we lack true skill. OUCH. If you've ever been involved in youth football outside of the U.S. you would know of this truth. Unfortunately, and we hate to say it but North Texas is degrading into Oklahoma style soccer, so get your linebackers ready.
For those injuries requiring medical treatment, North Texas does carry a policy for uninsured players. An uptick in insurance claims always gets a business' attention.
The real question though is has the North Texas soccer factory lost its way?

Re: Dirty Teams
I don't get your point 3.
My main question is whether North Texas sanctions teams based upon the accumulation of red cards. This particular team got 4 red cards in one day and continue to play in Classic League

.
It's really only three players that their goal is to injure your player. They're goal is to take out a forward and midfielder.
