With sports overlapping in HS do any club soccer players choose not to play soccer in HS so they can play another sport like Basketball?

There were some soccer players at the regional cc meet.
I bet you will see a lot of soccer girls in hs track.
I do think the girls should do hs sports. Too many benefits to pass up.

Our HS's Freshman team had 27 games or weekend tournaments between 8/6 & 10/26. My dd had conflicts this year in 8th grade with just 10 games. She'll have to choose between 1 or the other next year.
