02 Week 6 Rankings

I think both of these teams are very deserving....both teams have beaten or tied either SRSA Webb 03 or DT South 03 and all 02 teams know that these teams are hard to beat!

Roidrage thanks for mentioning the 03 teams in you rankings. There is no mention of either of the teams in the 03 rankings and most other people who rank the 02 leave our girls out. I know all the 03 parents on these teams appriciate it.

I've got some results from pre-season tournaments included in FBR. I think RR may only be listing record from league games this Spring. Also, I am not including any games against '01 teams in FBR, so the record of teams like Fever & Rowdies who are playing in '01 leagues this Spring probably won't match up.

As long as I think their in the top 20! Starting pretty soon they will only be able to play 02 teams....since all the 01's will be in select! My records only started with the spring season, I believe the FBR goes back to January and some tourneys! That's why u see a descrepancy.

Only seen them play a handful of times, but def think they are good. I'm relatively new to 02's.I was just looking at the season records, and curious.

I would place SRSA 03 behind Stav at 8 but other than that great Job!!!

No, don't need proof of how we rank in the '03 division. We just enjoy seeing our name included in the '02 division since we only play '02s. With the exception of DT South '03.

For the record, I include Rowdies games where they have played other '02 teams. Right now, there are only 2 of them (W over Fever Red, L to FCD Premier, both in Winter Classic). I don't list Rowdies because FBR, being a computer ranking, needs sufficient game data to get an accurate calculation. With 2 games, there isn't really enough to do so.

The only other way to do it, would be for me to add the entire '01 EAL league (teams and game results) to the '02 database. If I just add the single games against "one-time" opponents that have no cross-reference to other teams for strength in the database, I will get erroneous results.

So, my reason for not including Rowdies in the '02 FBR has nothing to do with an opinion on whether or not they should be ranked. I would love to include them. I just don't have enough data from them yet. Hopefully that will change with upcoming tournaments.

As I dont have any experience with SDL teams cant disagree with the top teams in your rankings but having Polaris up there in the top 20 with no mention of Dynasty seems a bit off. Polaris is 6-3-2 combined in PAL and Primetime. Dynasty is unbeaten and beat Polaris 3-0 a few weeks back. This is a strong little team and deserves to be recognised. hope they play in some tourneys this spring with the heavy hitters in 02 to see how they match up. Ive seen them play and they have stout D with Speed up top which seems to be key for winning at the young ages.May surprise a few teams later this season

Polaris had three starters out that day and we play back to back games with Prime Time and they drive straight to PAL on Sunday after a Prime Time game. Polaris just had a bad day when they played them and a 40 mile per hour wind blowing into the goal. You did win that game, but we missed 20 shots on goal and just could not find the net, the girls are allowed to have a bad day every now and then. When we are rested Polaris has a proven track record of competing very well against good teams. If you want to be recognized then play tournaments competing against everyone and quit complaining just because you were able to have a win one time. Enjoy the win, get out of PAL and show everyone how good you are. My experience is that teams from Granbury are short lived and lack the commitment to continue to compete in the Competitive ages. You team is just twice the size of all the other 02 players right now, but the skill and game play is avg at best.

Looks to me like Polaris, Crossroads, FWU, and Sting O'Keefe are kind of beating up on each other, while, Dynasty, in turn, is beating up all of those teams pretty equally. Looks like the Polaris game was more of the norm for Dynasty than the exception to the rule.

Given how they are beating up on the rest of PAL, I think it would be very interesting to see Dynasty come out and play in a couple of tourneys against other DFW SDL teams this Spring to see if this dominance translates.

first off I am not part of Dynasty. Dont have a daughter there and dont coach them. My statement was truly based on what I have seen. I guess you also had the whole team missing against Crossroads, and 3 or 4 out against FWU. I have seen your girls play and they are good players with a very good #9 and center Defender that is truly bigger than the rest of the girls. Wasnt trying to pick just trying to give credit where credit was due. Never once did I say your team should be lower just a fact that Dynasty has a quality team. How about giving credit to them instead of making excuses. While we are here what exactly is wrong with playing PAL when academy is about development from what I have seen the competition in Primetime is not exactly kickin in doors in the 9v9 division.
