I saw several girls get hurt this weekend-1 from Sparta FC and 1 from Triumph. The injury to the Sparta player ended the game. I hope the girls are OK. Any update on their conditions?

We lost in the Final against Sting (pre ASG White Classic D2) 2-1 and without being bias we should have won. Poor finishing let us down. Our player is fine, thanks for asking, all but a bruised shin and will be available to play in QT this coming weekend. We played our best in the game we lost!

I'm glad to hear that your player is OK. I hate to see girls at this age get hurt because the chance of it being serious goes up exponentially. I'm afraid the Sparta player may have blown an ACL. As far as your comments on the game...I'll take the bait. Your assessment of the game is more than a little biased. To claim that you played the best game and just didn't finish your chances is laughable! The one goal your team got was the result of an unfortunate header that went the wrong direction. Did you forget about the 10 quality chances that our team didn't finish? You and I must not have been watching the same game if you think your team played the best game.

Laughing I was talking about in the tournament so you did take the bait! We didn't play well in the other 3 bracket games
10 quality chances wow you are not allowed to add them up over the tournament, that doesn't count! Laughing

To come on here and claim that you should have won the game had you finished your chances is absurd. And to make that claim while picking up your second place trophy was also absurd. Pump up your team all you want, just don't do it at the expense of the team you lost to.

I wasn't trying to be disrepectful but I dont look through rose colored glasses like you do. 10 quality chances and yet you scored with a speculitive shot over our GK head not driven just looping and a tap in after a gk fumble. You cant count entering your opponents half as quality chances! So where the 10 quality chances came from I will never know because if you had that many and didn't score as a D2 classic league team I would look for a new striker if I was you Shocked

That's right, you don't watch the game with rose colored glasses...you have your Triumph blinders on. Score a goal before you say you should have won the game! Our goals came from possession in the offensive third and ball movement. (Just an aside-if I was your goalie's parent I would be pissed that you just threw her under the bus) And for you to presume to know what it take to play striker at the D2 level is funny. Your team has one play...clear the ball out of your defensive third-where most of the game was played-and hope #7 can outrun the defense to goal. It's a good thing that she will be available for your team at the QT.

No, he said they played their best game and that they should have won the game. If that doesn't imply that he feel his team was the better team, then I don't know what does. If you look at my original post, the only thing I was concerned about was the health of the 2 players that went down. When he added his commentary on the game, I felt like I had the duty to respond.

"We played our best in the game we lost" He didn't say they played better than the team they were playing - just that they played their best - nothing to imply, it's a quote.

Unbelievale Stoke City. You stooped as low as to attack our team and coach from a comment I made that "I" thought we should have won. We played our best game in the tournament was the comment, cant wait for a reply because I so badly want to expose you for what you are,
Uneducated, No knowledge of the game, classless parent! Shame I cant say your players take after their parents but I thought what a great group of girls that we played Shocked
Why does everyone refer to me as he? Dont ever assume PLEASE

Funny how people see the same game from 2 different perspectives.

I think Stoke City had an issue with the first comment, not the last...

"We lost in the Final against Sting (pre ASG White Classic D2) 2-1 and without being bias we should have won."

US women "should have" beaten Japan.
Miami "should have" beaten Dallas.
George "should have" bought the more expensive envelopes.
Clinton "should have" kept it in his pants.
I "should have" majored in something else.

But none of it happened.

One goal changes EVERYTHING……. The ball is over inflated, not enough air, the rain was the problem, the wind killed us, the grass is too high, the pitch is not level, etc….. There is always an excuse for a loss. No sense in whining about it. Both teams will meet on the pitch again. Let the girls play it out. There shouldn’t be any reason to come on here to act like a two year old and bash the players. Except it and move on.
