First game at Moss this season.... What a wonderful place! Broken car window glass and beer bottles in the parking lot between fields 5 & 6!!!!!

And I guess they ran out of paint a long time ago, there are no lines on the fields! Always good for a laugh when you come out here!

You are not kidding. The lines for Field 4 were MIA -- the worst I've ever seen.

Moss sucks. Period. Why don't they (LHGCL) just go stick the teams in a freakin' pasture somewhere. At least then they wouldn't have to pay field fees to anyone, 'cause Dallas Parks definitely ain't spending any of the money we're paying to them on field maintenance.

LHGCL should be embarrased and ashamed. Sad thing is, they're not.

And we pay high fees to play on the best fields and in the "best" league in NTX? Really? I brought some relatives to a game at Moss Park and was so embarassed by the environment and the field conditions. And I was bragging how we play in one of the best leagues in NTX. Shameful .... also, still waiting for Saturday's game results on the website. I'm bettin' they will be posted by Friday of this week. I can hardly wait! bounce

Sounds like the rec association knows how to take care of business. Probably got volunteers out there doing there own striping.

Are you sure that they view us as the customer?

Seems more like they view the clubs as their primary customers.

Kind of like the healthcare insurers. The employer is their primary customer (buyer) the employees are just the consumer of the service but really don't have much say other than to join or not.

Seems more in line with the way LHGCL operates.

Moss will be going away when the new fields at UTD are complete. Suppose to be by the spring. Sad part of it is our 96's still have a 8:15pm weekday game coming real soon!

UTD has a construction delivery date of March 12th for 4 new soccer fields at a cost of $1.7 million. I had heard something about paved parking, but the facilities construction update from UTD did not mention anything about the parking lot.

Very Happy If no paved parking I'm getting a 4x4 all terrain truck, that gravel parking lot get worse every week!

For what it's worth, we were requested to send in a report to our age group commissioner detailing the poor conditions at Moss Park. Our coach sent the report to both the commissioner and to the LH game scheduler. One of our parents even toook pictures of the field and facility. Not sure what good it will do, but at least we can say we did our part. I believe our opposing coach from this past weekend might have also contacted them.

They don't need lines, they have the ruts that go along the sides of the fields.
