I agree, which is why I was curious about the older girls. Thought maybe they all jump ship after a certain age or something.

I agree. The question is how later? Or better yet, how young?
Looking at FCD, there is still no push to be in the mix for 95s thru 97s.
And that's about the same for Liverpool.

Incorrect. Northeastern Ok State, Queens Univ NC, Incarnate Word and St. Edwards are DII. Houston Baptist is DI and has gone to the Great West Conf Title game 3 years in a row. Coach Misty Jones used to coach for the Texans.

On the girl's side, the biggest thing that Sting and Texans have that FCD, Solar and Liverpool don't, is the relationships with a large majority of the college coaches. I could ask our coach to reach out to any program my dd had an interest in and they would answer the phone. The same can be said for Kenny Medina. There is a history of providing college level players that some of the other clubs haven't yet achieved. Will they? That's a question you will have to take into consideration when your kid is U-16, U-17.

Soccer player's progress tracked on web

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Kylie Doniak, the soccer player at the University of Texas at Austin seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident early Friday, showed some signs of improvement on Sunday, her family said on a website.
"Kylie had a stable day," her family said in the posting late Sunday. "She is completely off paralytic drugs but heavily sedated. ...
"Today was 'boring' but boring is good," the post continues. "We've never been so happy to say that before! The doctors are just trying to do a balancing act where they slowly start to change things.
"They want to do less with machines and medicine and let Kylie do more. But the whole balancing act depends on her brain and the pressure in her skull."
Doniak, 22, was walking with friends in Downtown Austin early Friday when she was struck by a car. The motorist did not stop but was chased down by 47-year-old Sisto Perez, who witnessed the scene while riding his motorcycle. She remained in critical condition on Sunday.
Perez detained the driver until police arrived.
Nicholas Colunga, 22, was arrested on one count of intoxication assault and two counts of failure to stop and render aid
