With the season wrapping up in the next few weeks will the majority of the 05s stay in EAL come fall?

I am told Hyypia 05 is moving to EAL this fall which if everyone stays put in EAL would round out the pool and create some challenging competition each week it seems

Anyway just curious what the 05s are thinking moving forward...

We've been pretty pleased with the league, and definitely the fields (especially Cox!). WWWWAAAAAYYYYY better than the ant hills at SDL!

I really like the 8v8 format, actually getting 3 refs (most of which have been pretty good!), and the 25-minute halves. I would love to stay in EAL if everyone else plans to do the same.

maybe our EAL experience is different. First the games werent great and now we are down to 7 games. We paid for 8 now on scheduled for 7. I would take ant piles and no refs over what we experience so far

We've had a great experience with EAL. Schedules, fields, competition all top notch. Only had one game where the ref was allowing MMA style soccer...rest have been pretty good.

All 13 teams in the U5G division have 10 games on their schedule. Please pm me your team name and division and I can explain any scheduling issues you may have.

Heard the 04s are not happy. Certainly the 2 RASE parents I've spoken to say its been a waste of a season in 03 division. SDL hasn't been bad this season although certainly Cox and Lake Park are superior.

GO and MB are just SDL homers. The only complaints they would have are beyond control of the league.

Can't do anything about what teams sign up and the level of competition for 04s aside from 2 teams in u8 has been competitive. It appears the 05s have been competitive as well.

Every single part of EAL is superior to SDL. From fields to refs to GotSport to customer service is better.

The only complaint would be the total reaming afforded by local associations to comply with north texas.

Could care less about the leagues and apparently you can do something about what teams sign up. RASE is not in gold because apparently the lower gold teams did something about it Wink

EAL has been awesome for the 05's- great fields and officiating better than most.
