Can anyone tell me what the pricing runs (players fees and uniform) for other clubs like Odyssey and Solar?

Dues= $2200 - $2500
Kit= $300 - $400
Expect to come out of pocket for tournaments and misc. costs another $300 to $1000 plus your travel expenses. Depends on the age group, Older teams go to a lot of the higher priced college showcase tourneys so costs will creep up as players go through HS. If on a top D1 team the tourney costs are high even at a young age as they go to Disney, Surf Cup, Las Vegas Inv., etc...

Dues around $1800-1900. Uniform with everything (sweats, bag, jersey's, shorts, socks) about $260. Field Fees are an additional $250-300.

This sounds like Liverpool. If so be sure to ask about the other hidden costs. Field fees are not the only extras they have.

Whoever you talk to be sure to ask for a breakdown of what the fees do and do not include the 2200 - 2500 I listed include fields, ref fees (extra at LP), and some tournaments.

Odyssey's fees something like $1850 fees, plus about $275 for kit package & $300 field fees. Covers 3/4 tournament costs....

Hmm, I have two kids playing select for Liverpool and never have we had to pay any field fees or ref fees. These are all included in the club dues as are some tournament fees. We do pay for any of the tournaments we play beyond what is spelled out in the contract. And we do a couple of fundraisers each year. There are NO hidden costs or fees though.

I have four children that play for Liverpool. I'm not aware of what they charge me. I just know to close my eyes when they open the jar of petroleum jelly.

As someone whose dd played for both Liverpool (3 yrs) and Texans (currently) fees are not any different between the clubs at least at the age groups she has been involved in (U 12 - U 16). Cost of uniforms was almost identical also. We've never payed field fees or other fees outside of expected travel cost for tournaments.

Dude do you think the fields and refs are free? of course you pay for them. every club breaks it down a little differently but yes you pay for everything including tournaments either up front or after.

Dude, you should reread my post, pay attention to the part where I wrote, "These are all included in the club dues as are some tournament fees."

The original poster incorrectly stated the LP does not include these fees as part of their club fees and charges them over and above the club fee. This is quite wrong.

My apologies to all the LP faithful. It took me awhile the find the old article I was quoting info from. Turns out it was with regards to academy teams not select and did mention that a number of clubs use the format of dues + ref fees + field fees, etc... drunken
