It is so refreshing to have an honest coach that will admit to your face his only concern is to win games. He admits that he is not interested in developing your kid, he is not interested in motivating his team, he only wants to keep his job.

At least you have no doubt that you should run. Not all coaches are this way...and yes, I know some lie and tell you they aren't when they are...I may be an optimist, but I believe there are coaches out there that really care about development and will do what is best for the team/player even if it means in the short term, you lose a game. Big picture coaches are out there.
