Flamefest Predictions!

Anyone care to weigh in? Fever, Dynamo, and Sting seem odds on favorites, but could there be some upsets along the way? What about an 03 team?

Looks like Bracket A & B got hosed while Fever will have have a cake walk to the finals.

i would not overlook Liverpool Hansen. I've seen them play and they are pretty good. Might surprise a few

All these teams. A ton of games in a short time. Cardio will come into play. Coaching will come into play. I think a dark horse will emerge. Should be interesting.

My DD has competed with many of these teams. I will go with Solar Dynamo '02 to win it. They spread the field well and expense less energy chasing. That will help them in the long haul with back to back games.

My dark horse will be one of the '03 teams. However I do not think either of them can get by Dynamo.

Fever V Dynamo in the Finals. Fever by 1 in the end. Now with this prediction I am sure my picking luck will turn it into an all '03 final.....

Think Dynamo, but Lubbock can play and is my dark horse pick.

It appears my Fever prediction may be in jeopardy.... Tied TSN.. If Fever doesn't make it to the finals then I would have to pick Dynamo to take it all...

Dynamo takes it. But I have to say the TD should be fired. Fields suck, bathrooms are disgusting and there aren't enough, refs suck, schedule sucks. I'm just in awe that someone could badly manage so many things.

DTS 03 - greatest 03 team, this side of SRSA, Dynamo no good?

The FBR is based on scores and my point is that both teams are very good and the gap is tighter than the rankings are showing....I also saw DTSouth only beat Liverpool#18 (1-0).

FBR is not very predictable.

Then you only beat a 18th rank team 1-0. What do you want, second in the 02 div behind Missimo.
Do you see FCD Grubb on the 01 board telling all the 01s they can beat them. Grow up. You got a good team. Now have some CLASS.

My DD does not play for DTSouth......my point is that the FBR rankings are fun and exciting; however, they often don't match what happens on the field. Too many parents get caught up in FBR and it is only a tool for conversation and does not always hold true.

No team out there wants to get beat, much less by a team a year younger than you, even much less than a team younger than you that brags about it. All I'm saying is just think of other peoples feelings before you tear teams down.
Btw, good game to all the girls out there today, it was way too hot for 3 games today.

I second the fact that whoever is in charge in this tournament needs to really look at the environment, example , bathrooms, With the heat out there today, everyone was drinking alot which means ALOT of trips to those nasty @zz bathrooms. To have 2 out of 3 stalls working and no toilet paper in one is unacceptable. And the groundsman was no help what so ever. Look public bathrooms are gross but these by far were awful. I will say also there were some teams that just didn't seem to be matched well. All and all I have no predictions but i will say all the games , It was nice that those parents who sat under the shade trees regardless to what team your going for seemed to be friendly. We all had one thing in common, We all were hot and sweaty..lol Good luck to all the teams tomorrow advancing.

What about the Lubbock team...was there a website error with their point total as well..looks like they should have advanced???

FC Lubbock team was #2 wildcard and lost to Sting 03 in shoot out (3-2) in semis.
