Congrats, indeed. Hyypia girls played great...17 goals for, 2 against.
Seem to be getting stronger with each tourney.

Congrats to LP Carragher 05G for winning the 05 age group championship! They beat Celtic 05G to take home the hardware. Very well done by these young ladies!

And congrats to LP Rush 05G as well... they did great against '04 competition. All the 04 teams were bigger (physically speaking) than either Hyypia or Rush... so it just proves that the ability to stay spread out and pass the ball and play team soccer wins games. Both Hyypia and Rush did this.

And while it's very exciting to see how strong this 05 age group is... what's more exciting is how the majority of the top 05 teams will all play in the same league (EAL) in the fall. Every Sunday should consist of "finals like" games. What an amazing development league this will be for these young ladies.
