New TFC Uniforms - ????
They look a better than the Sting uniforms when they left the big names and had ther own uniform made.
Hopefully TFC learned from Stings mistakes and gets a better product?

And the cost should be substantially less and I'm told its not going to be any less, looks like the DOC is just collecting money and giving the players a sub-standard product.

I agree. Looks great except for that. I find it disturbing when my eye slips down to a teenager's a$$, even when it's accidental because there is a word written on it.

soccermom97b wrote:Cost is not much more than the Nike kit from last year, and includes all 3 uniforms...white, royal and long sleeve red. Red is no longer an option at an extra cost. Also includes travel polo, 2 dry-fit practice jerseys and the pre-game jersey. No complaints out of our team at all!
Since our team had to purchase the red kit and the cost of the pregame came later, this is actually less than last year plus it includes the travel polo (not included last year). Additionally, if you want more than 2 practice kits you can get another 2 kits for $25 and the practice t's are no longer 100% cotton but rather a dri-fit type material. The quality seems to be quite nice, but truthfully that remains to be seen until it's all been through the wash many, many times. I've shown the pics to some of our players and they really like the look.

My dd has had uniforms from this company before though, and they looked sharp and held up nicely and were really inexpensive.

As a REF, I'll make them tuck the shirts in anyway, lol...
I wonder how leaving Nike could affect any TFC effort to join the Nike affiliated ECNL??

don't see how it will matter since FCD, D'Feeters and Solar all use Adidas and not Nike and are in ECNL.
My opinion on the costs, I think clubs are making more money by doing this. I felt the same when Sting did it, and any other club that gets these and charges close to the same price, even if you get 'extra' pieces, is just out for more money.
So you get an extra piece or two.... compare the price of Adidas or Nike to the cheap thin shirt at wal-mart or k-mart. How many of those can you buy for one Adidas shirt?

Please don't use my kids' butts as an advertising space. I don't want people looking at my kids' butts. I certainly don't want people staring at it long enough to read something.

Agree. This is the only thing I don't like about the kit. In fact I've always told DD she will NOT wear anything that has writing across the butt. Ironic...bigtex75081 wrote:Dearest Clubs,

Ayses should think about putting their name in that location. There are plenty of Texans who may think "Ayses" is a European spelling of the word: "A$$es"

Soccemom or Aggie
What is the cost of the kit? I have the last year kit and cost sheet and have a hard time believing its the same cost as last year or close.
For an inferior product it should be at least half the cost as Nike or Adidas.
