Your ranking is probably the best that I have seen. #8 Sting should be Sting Rezaie and #16 Sting should be Sting Parker. Maybe Sting Parker should be #12. D’Feeters team has so many changes including the loss of the whole defense and goalie so it is hard to know where they should be. We will find out during King Tut! DT HIggs team is where it should be at #2. And of course FCD Renfro should be somewhere in top 10..

Parker gave Higgs a game (0-0 until last 5) as did Andro. These guys could be
better than expected (11/12?!? -- would have been nice if Kyle Owen would have
re-seeded in the semis so we could have seen it!).

Given the HUGE thread earlier this week, will Rezaie implode before QT (ah just
kidding guys, don't get out the cannons)

I love this time of the year -- 2-a-days and time in the weight room to beef up
some of these scrawny girls.

When did Gio play anybody in the top 10? Both Gio and Renfro keep rising but only play teams in the teens. Did I miss some games where Gio and Renfro took down top 10 competition? How do you figure Gio at #4?

Has Sting Parker played many top ten to be really tested? Sting "R" team is truly the strongest despite any drama. The true top 10 will be decided on the field.

@Dirk, my choice to move Gio up and Dynamo down was based on the style of play I saw when my DD competed against both of these teams. As the title states, this is just a guess. Both teams are extremely talented.

Yes Good Luck! All the DD's work very hard. This is just fun banter. Any team might suprise on QT week. It always happens.

They beat Fever in last tourney. They have beaten, tied and lost to Renfro twice. I think that says they are pretty close competition wise. Won most all games pretty decisively and only lost to TFC during season play in TPGL Silver. They are new to the top 10 sure, but have a lot of talent and they seem to be getting better. They also beat SRSA '03's which Dynamo wasn't able to do.

I wouldn't worry about Feet, got a new goalie courtesy of Gio from what I here and several new mid-field/defenders. Who fits where in the ranking is irrelevant, all that matters is making top 20 for D1 and then the rest all plays itself out over a year. Throw in some dark horses, Andro, the new Sting teams, etc. and it's a toss-up in QT.

DO NOT count out LP 02G Dalglish... They were up the entire game against Andro and Andro tied it up with a few minutes on a free kick and some mis-communication on the girls part. Yes, Andro ended up winning on PKs and congrats to them... but if they are the standard of what it means to be top 15, then it seems anyone can get in.

better yet... ignore Dalglish...

Anyone in the top 25 has a chance, some teams will not perform as projected, and a couple of teams will not make D1 that everybody predicted would make. Seeding will be crucial as always because there are some 15-25 teams that will be tough games for the higher seeds.

I agree I should have include them in the definately maybe section. Ya'll are a very good team.

Everyone has their own perspective. You make it sound like Andro barely won. I would characterize it more like this: Andro started off a little slow and allowed LP to get one shot off and it was a good goal, after that I don't think LP had much more than 10-20% possession. LP put up a tough defense after they scored, but I don't think they crossed midfield more than once in the second half. Andro had many shots, but couldn't put one in till late. That happens sometimes.

From past version's of the QT tournament isn't that all you need to do...score. I don't think many teams are expected to play like Spain out there (apart from the actual "Elite" end of the age group....of which there are probably 3 teams), so more teams are likely to play like England!

Here is my predictions for DI and DIII....with a little commentary.

1. FCD Grubb- best all around team and contrary to some people this is best passing team.
2. DT Higg- atheletes galore...can beat anyone including FCD Grubb.
3. SRSA Colvin- still dangerous with great striker, awesome GK..also capable of beating Grubb.
4. DT South- why they don't put sweeper at forward I'll never know? Defenders are much easier to find than great finishers.
5. Solar Dynamo- very good possession team, but still missing that elite scorer to hang with top 4.
6. Solar Gio-almost put them at #5 because they have 2 stud forwards, but defence is suspect.
7. Fever Red- almost a clone of Dynamo...very good coach!
8. Waco Blast- not sure if they are trying for LH, but their stud forward alone puts them here.
9. Defeeters- beat Colvin...even with guests shows they are getting better.
10. Sting Rez- good team, could beat 5-9 on any day.
11. FCD Rangel- nice solid team.
12. TFC Elite- good team with awesome forward.
13. Andromeda- should be right around here.
14. Dynasty- this team wins, but avoids top competetion.
15. FCD Renfro- losing top 2 players to Grubb will hurt. Still DI though.
16. Saints- competed well in TGPL Silver.
17. LP Keegan Jones- very solid team, should be LP's top team.
18. LP Thompson- this team is right here with the 14-17 teams.
19. FCD East Barnes- this team always keeps games close, but can't seem to score much.
20. Sting East Dunstan- they seem to hang with all teams around 16-19.

DIII Teams
21. TX Spirit North- big physical team with good coach.
22. Sting Parker- showed well last weekend, but not sure if they were borrowing players from Sting Rez or if they are going to roster them.
23.Solar Chelsea Stark- sister team of Dynamo...good coach.
24. Cosmos Black- they held SRSA 03 to only 4 goals last season...that should say something.
25. Celtic- team competes well, did they add Grubbs old center mid or did she go to Colvin?
26. Fever White- team should be able to make DIII.
27. TFC Larry- haven't seen this team, but they seem to do well with this level of competetion.
28. LP Dalglish- they have competed well of late. If only LP would merge all teams and make a 1st team, 2nd team, 3rd team then they might have a top 10 team.
29. DT Vigil- he has been bringing in atheletes, will he have time to teach them skills before qualifying?
30. FC Premier- this team showed very well a couple of weeks ago...they lost 2 games to a very good Sting Scarfone 03 team with both games being 3-4...while Dynamo only beat Sting 03 1-0...so this is my surprise team.

Thank goodness you don't do seeding for QT Roidrage !
