The best excuses

I'd like to gather a list of the best excuses to be used over the next three weeks. It would be easier to just pull from a pre-compiled list than to have to think of something in the heat of the moment after a loss.

- the grass was too long
- the grass was too short
- the ball was not inflated properly
- the refs were clearly biased against our team
- the ref has a DD on the other team
- the sun shined most on our side of the field
- our best player was sick
- the wind was blowing against us
- we played the better game just the score doesn't reflect it
- they packed the box so we couldn't score
- my DD didn't get enought play time, that's why we lost

Please help add to this...

- The schedule worked against us
- They didn't seed us correctly, and we got screwed via bracket

-It was too hot, so we didn't play our best

-it's too cold!
- the fields we played on had a slope!
- the drive was too far and my DD was tied apon arrival!
- the girls played too rough!
- all they did was play kick ball, and we could never play our game!
- We played the Texans then FCD! lol that's the best one of all.

- according to FBR, that team was supposed to be easy!

We played the unknown/unranked Vipers and got out butts kicked!

The coach put the "bench players" in. He clearly threw the game

Lol, forgot that one.

- the club told us we were not allowed to beat the "top" team

- A couple of their kids were wearing jeans and that really threw our girls for a loop.
- Did anyone check their birth certificates? They had 2 girls that looked like they were at least 18 years old. THEY WERE AS TALL AS ME!
- The other team was wearing red, and we usually wear red, so we accidently kept passing the ball to the other team.
- All 6 of their goals were offsides.

- I saw two girls on the other team drive themselves to the game

- Was that a boy? Because I swear I saw a mustache comb in "her" bag.

- Can I get a price check on Adam’s apples on field #2?
- HGH much? Come on. That coach has them juiced on something...
- Those girls were thugs! Just look at their tattoos!
- I think the ref forgot his whistle.
- We were tired from our 3-a-days.

Our girls aren't morning people.

It just wasn't a good match up for us.

We haven't played a game in a while.

With all the games we have been playing, we haven't had time to practice.

We dominated but we just didn't finish.

They had guest players.

They had a coach on the parent's side to coach the defense.

We paly beautiful fut bol and they just play ugly. We deserve to win. Boohoo!
This from FCD and the Texans parents.

Our regular coach wasn't there so the assistant coach, club coach, team manager, or parent had to fill in and they didn't have a clue.

Oh, wait. That's all legitimate despite the BS from the head coach about how the girls should be able to play just as well when he's absent.

- 20 minute halves are too short... Our girls usually play 30 minute halves and were expecting more time and chances to score.

- the tournament forced parents to sit on the same side of the field as the girls. Our coach couldn't yell at the girls the way he usually does.

-Our parents didn't yell loud enough so our DDs did not play their best
