I kept waiting for the part of the article that described some incident or conflict or inappropriate comment by a player, but it wasn't there. All they did was play great and win by a large margin. Scoring as many points as possible in an Olympic game is fine with me. It's not like it's a kid's soccer game where the score is 20-1 or something.

It talks about how Coach K pulled the "stars", played zone and did everything he could to slow it down. And as he points out in the article, the other team would have been more offended if USA would have just turned the ball over every 23 second before the shot clock went off. Coach K is one of the classiest Coaches in basketball.

nz actually has a decent side, they move the ball quickly, a lot of 1 touch passing. their problem is depth, i think they should be pretty fatigued by the 2nd half, most of their starters have played all of the minutes. the The us will knock in few goals in the 2nd half.

I just saw Lebron over celebrating in the 3rd and it just brings out my hatred for the heat. I have a hard time cheering for them representing us.

On the plus side, the US women's soccer team is playing very well. Their game looks balanced: Defensively solid, good passing, excellent speed, not overly reliant on just hitting the opponent or long ball, and some great shooting. They have been criticized (rightly so) in the past for not keeping up technically with other teams. That doesn't apply is these Olympic games. Wambach and Morgan are sensational at times.
