luggage dilemma for tournament
luggage dilemma for tournament
I just had to drive DD and 4 other people to Denver for a soccer tournament. We have a Tahoe and I was freaked about where I was going to put everyone's bags.
I knew that the luggage rack was the only available space. I was a little freaked about putting anything up there and driving.
I decided to take a chance and buy a storage bag from roofbag.com
That thing rocks! It was easy to put up on the Tahoe and fit all the bags for 2 women, 4 soccer DDs. It was a huge square with a zipper all the way around it. It was waterproof too (we had rain in Denver and driving back).
If you are short on space, I would definitely recommend it.

"Top of the line, 100% waterproof"
"Economical, 99% waterproof"
So had to ask since you went through rain--did you go spring for the extra 1% of waterproofing?
Appreciate the post. We've got an Expedition so traded the extra storage space of our old Suburban for the push-button fold down seats and sometimes end up with people having to sit next to their luggage.

Too bad my oldest is missing out on the extended space since she almost always ended up in the very back seat next to the luggage pile--generally with items falling over on her head from various locations as well.
Happy soccering to you and your crew!
