So now that Van Persie has gone to Man U, the Sir Alex Ferguson has Berbatov, Danny Welbeck, Hernandez and Rooney plus Van Persie. Wow! They are just like the Yankees. Booo! 3 of those guys will never get off the bench when it matters.

They still need a CM (or two) and a CB. They'll win just as many trophies next year as they did last year.

Think how much more fun the league could be if these studs that will never hit the pitch now played for other EPL clubs. It's a shame but the nature of the beast I guess. Podolski is going to Arsenal so that will help. Would love to see Berbatov and Hernandez start other places though.

Berbatov should be on his way out.
Hernandez may be on the same path as Macheda.

It's a shame they are loaded up top, I'd like to see Will Keane get some first team action, but it'll never happen behind RVP, Rooney, Welbeck and Chicharito

If you look at Man U's attackers, they have creative players but no classic #9. Chicharito likes to play central, but you have to play Van Persie in front of goal which leaves little room for Hernandez. Rooney will continue to drop deeper to help create--they are old and slow in the center of the pitch. Welbeck will have to play wide (Nani will play wide; maybe Valencia too).

Berbatov is pretty much done at Man U. Chicharito will keep him company on the bench.

Yankees...I don't know. Give me Barca with Messi, Villa and Sanchez!

Man City has Dzeko, Balotelli, Tevez, Aguero, Santa Cruz, Adebayor and Guidetti (the last 3 cant even get a game and yet Adebayor proved he can score at Spurs but hes just a bad apple and Guidetti scored 20 goals in 23 apps for Feyenoord) Now that a strike force and a huge wage bill! Wink

Young Will is way down the pecking order, and rightly so.. Talented player, but very young.. Having said that, I wouldn't rule him out of getting first team time during an early Carling Cup clash..

Definately missing carrick yesterday didn't help... Was hoping United would sign Modric or hazard, just didn't work out. Scholes is class, but old..Fergie will figure out how to make it work.
