It's a cute picture....but I actually use it as my avatar as a subtle reminder to all the club soccer parents that kids will emulate what the parent does - so be a bit mindful when you disparage another team/club, or berate the ref. (even if they deserve it sometimes) Someone is watching

To Duecees Dad: Big dawg you've got those LP folks nervous already, lol. Just hang on to the Spirit for a minute though, you've got a running partner now. If big Sid figures it out, the big boys won't know what hit 'em.. If he doesn't we may just have to catch da fever. If we both caught da fever it would be a wrap.

I think they have some pretty good bug spray options these days to help you avoid the fever...

Just curious how the teams sort out within the respective organizations...and I like to watch fireworks. Which ones are Gold-A, and which ones are Bronze-B? (in reference to that hilarious blog)

Furthermore to whomever may still be listening and even cares, within the Spirit North family there is a Red and Grey team. You'll see the references in the recent FBR rankings.

So how does the color designation fit into the picture, ie, FCD Blue, FCD Red, etc.? Also, can a player that's on the Blue team for example also be on Premier?

At this age? YES! A player can duel roster even within the same league just special release forms have to be signed by both coaches. When they go select? NO! The player will be one 1 team. From my understanding for FCD at U11 (pre-ECNL) the elite team is Premier and it does not have a color in the team name. They are just listed as FCD Premier. Then each team after is FCD Blue, FCD South Red, etc... I want to say FCD Blue is the 2nd ranked team within the club but that doesn't mean they are the 2nd strongest team. It's could also mean that coach has more superiority within the club too. I think after the elite team the rankings are subjective to the higher up's within the organization.
