I'm not quite clear on this issue, so I would appreciate if someone could clear this up for me.
What are the rules about going Select and playing up?
Here is a hypothetical situation:
What happens when my 03 daughter reaches the age to go Select as it relates to an older team? Is she able to immediately join an 02 team if she makes the 02 team or does she have to play a full year with her 03 age group before she is able to play up again?
Any rule clarification or prior experiences would be greatly appreciated.

When your dd is U11, she can play up on an older team.
The "age pure" means that all U11 teams are U11 girls.

Ok. So what you are saying is that since she is an 03, next Fall she will immediately be able to play with an 02 team?

Correct.
The rule in play is the minimum age rule for Select. Your DD must have turned 10 yrs old prior to August 1st of the soccer year in question (i.e. for the 2012-2013, your DD must have turned 10 prior to Aug. 1, 2012).
Once you meet the minimum age rule for Select, there are no NTSSA restrictions on "playing up".
