If you really think about it there probably isn't a bad team in the top 8-10 at this point. Hopefully all the coaches are doing their best and the teams are getting better. Sometimes you have to step back to go forward. We can argue leagues etc all we want, but the fact of the matter is it doesn't matter! If your you trust your Coach then trust the league he puts you in. Hopefully they are seeking top competition for their teams. Sometimes it doesn't work out like we want and certain teams pick different leagues etc. That may or may not mean they are "dodging". I would hope that a coach wouldn't put that much thought into a league and not play where he wants because they could lose to a potentially better team. I would hope he/she would want to be in the toughest league. It cant always happen. Coaches have multiple teams and they have to do what is right for all the teams and play where they can divide their time most efficiently. If a coach is running from complex to complex then he has less time with players.

Bottom line there will always be Spirit, Solar, Liverpool, Texans etc haters on this forum that's what keeps it funny. But please stop the bashing of coaches and teams. They are all doing what they think is right for their respective teams. For every LW or Kenn, Rosales hater their are more people that love and respect them. My DD absolutely loves her coach or we wouldn't be there. I'm sure your DD's feel the same about their coach. As parents im sure you do everything you can to put your daughter in a position to succeed. It doesn't always work out, then go find another place. No need to hammer where you left. It just didn't work. If parents are smart they wont listen to the negatives on this forum before choosing a place for their DD to play, go to some practices watch some games then chose for yourself. Everyone has a different opinions and I certainly think you should form your own without being influenced negatively.

Your right it depends on who is available that weekend. I can say that as each week passes the team gets better and the girls are starting to gel. We've only had a few weeks together, but as the season goes on......the tougher we will be to beat.

I can say pretty confidently that RASE is the best team in the 04 group. And no my DD is not on that team. From results and watching games, I think the rest is up in the air. It seems like many of the other top 10 teams beat each other every week and it's a battle every game.

I think DTS has really improved and deserve a top 5 ranking. The LP teams seem to be going through roster changes but are still strong. Solar and DT Scott are hard to judge but likely still chugging away. I also like the TX spirit, Lady Aztecs, and Fever teams.

In the end, this is all just entertainment for the parents. Does it really matter at this age who is #1 or #10? For those of us with older kids, there is often a top team in every age bracket at the younger ages. Usually within the first year or two of select, the teams will equalize and their will be much more parity.

I agree LP Rase is the team to beat. And yea it's all in good fun for us parents. I just enjoy seeing competitive games. This is the time when our DD's get to play with multiple teams and figure out where she fits in best before we have to sign.

well solar and scott play this weekend so we should get an idea of where those teams are. Is this a game of the week matchup?
