"right of way"
"right of way"
Please advise all of your staff, league directors, coordinators and officials that for safety reasons the balloons do have the right-of-way in the parkland. In the unlikely event that a balloon is forced to land in your park, please have your players and spectators give them plenty of operating room and suspend play if necessary until it is safe to resume your games.
I am curious about whether in this board's collective memory, a hot air balloon landing has ever interrupted a game. Do the refs stop the clock, or add "balloon clearance time" to the end of the game? Does FIFA have a rule for this sort of suspension?

Even when they're hurrying, those balloons take a looong time to break down and put into their trucks. That truck, by the way, will need to drive onto the field to collect their equipment and people.
Good luck with that.

They might as well throw Halloween candy out while they're flying over the fields. Then they can probably give all the players on the field a goldfish in a plastic bag to take home with them.

Another reason all LHGCL games should be played at moss.

Probabally only at MOSS park where the setting is so majestic. Those Ballons will fit right in!
