Plano Scores

Plano has 18 games with no scores posted.

Lake Highlands has 0 games with no scores posted.

Arlington has 0 games with no scores posted.

What would it take for Plano to get another U13 Director who will post scores like the other competitive leagues?

I think the issue is that they wait until both teams report the score before they post. LH only requires the winner to post the score. (Don't know about Arlington.) It might appear to some that maybe the teams who lose aren't that interested in posting fast.

Correct, that is the issue but it should not be. This is not a Team Manager problem or a losing team problem. This is a Director problem and we need a new one.

I believe it's a volunteer position. Put your name in the hat if you want it fixed. Can't just groan about it and expect someone else to make it happen.

Plano will not allow us to put our name in the hat. You cannot be a director of a division if you have a DD playing in that division claiming conflict of interest. Not real clear on what the conflict is.

In our LH division, both managers have to text the score to the commissioner before it will be posted.

We have the same issue in 01G, same director as well.

I think you give both managers 48 hours to text in, otherwise you go with what you got.

Here comes the cynic in me.....or you could just not be so concerned with how every other team is doing and just be concerned with your DD's performance. I know, how could I dare think or say that!
I spend just as much time as the rest looking up scores for all leagues, not just my DDs nor just her age bracket, but at the end of the day it has no bearing on how my DDs team performs. They love the game and try to improve each week but they could care less about rank or game stats. Ok maybe they care a little just not overly obsessed like me.
As Forrest would say, "that's all I've got to say about that".

Sigh - yes, please, participation trophies in select. Why have standings and worry about how the other kids you know or teams you are familiar with performed?

Just a point of clarification, here are the score reporting rules for LH.

Winning Team to Report Score: The designated coach, assistant coach or manager of each winning team must inform the team’s age division commissioner of the score of that team’s game within twenty-four (24) hours of the completion of each game. Failure to report the score within the prescribed time limit will result in the winning team receiving a $50.00 fine.
2. Tied Games: In the case of a tie, the designated coach, assistant coach or manager of the home team shall report the score of the game to the age division commissioner within twenty-four (24) hours of the completion of the game. If the home team fails to report the score within the prescribed time limit, the home
team will receive a $50.00 fine.

As you can see, there is incentive for the Winning or Home team to report the scores quickly (other than because they won).

LH does not require the losing team to report the score.
