I would say the refs won as well considering they will get paid for 2 games. 1pm PPL game in a total down pour at game start and they play ~15 mins and then cancel it. It was a mess! Our girls thought it would be fun to play in the rain until they realized how difficult it was! My DDs cleats were so full of water she said it made it hard to run because they felt like concrete.InaB wrote:OK, Noah 1 - Saturday afternoon games 0

If they had cancelled sooner, someone would be on here complaining about that. After all, no lightning, right? And it's so FUN to play w/concrete shoes!

Sure there would be complaints no matter what, can't please them all! Nope no lightning, which then asks the question, why cancel it if there wasnt? They had already started the game. If PPL was concerned about the fields then a judgement call should have been made before game start. The opposing team didnt even have enough players, they were calling them telling them to turn around and come back because the game was still on. Guess they got bad info that the game had been cancelled (prior to start).
