Shotshagger, if I wanted a smart-ass comment I would have came to you directly jeak-off
In standard English, this would read "Shotshagger, if I wanted a smart-ass comment, I would have come to you directly, jerk-off."
By the way, there's no need for you to "came" all the way over here to get skewered. It's 2012. I'm available on Podcast, Bulletin Board, email or by text.
shotshagger. go shag your balls.
My post were grammetically driven for those of YOU who are less fortunate in that area so you could somewhat relate; apparently still did not work.

go99 wrote:okay the most I can grab is you came from solar and where promised multiple practice facilities (which they have) and also practice facilities at UTA. (no idea on that one) I am not sure why the clubs practice facilities matter. I am only concerned with one facility and thats the one I have to drive to for practice. I guess most of us are a little confused or just left out of the inside joke. You need to tell us what it is exactly that LP did.
For those less fortunate to understand the basis for this post, here it is:
Liverpool FC guaranteed multiple practice fields so the teams coudl practice without regards to weather conditions or other elements.
One field was gained (outside field) with the guarantee that all of the fields, including indoor, at UT Arlington would also be secured for year-round practices.
The UTA field was NOT secured by Liverpool FC. So, we were down to just one field; an outdoor field.
This outdoor field was recently seeded, and therefore left the teams without a practice location. The consumers (players & parents) were notified via email that NO PRACTICE due to seeding of the fields. This not to mention the times where practice was cancelled due to sprinklers flooding the grounds.
To recap, multiple practice locations GUARANTEED during sign up period. Shortly thereafter, one field remained with many practices cancelled.
To help those impaired, here is how you may relate:
You are looking to upgrade employment so you fill out an application at McDonalds.
McDonalds feels sorry for you, and decides to take a chance & offers you a position starting at $8.00 per hour with a 30 minute lunch break.
Upon your first day of employment, you are notified that you will work for $6.00 per hour straight through; no breaks.
However, you have already quite your previous janitorial employment position and are left to enjoy $6.00 per hour.
Clear enough?? Probably for the most, it still is not.

We are in different areas of Metroplex but same issues.... It was too dry to use the fields... then they had to be seeded... for a while we were at a Park(celebration park in Allen which really is very nice to play on). I have heard others in different locations with similiar issues. LP 'Mgmt' is aware of the situation and trying to address(so I'm told anyway).
I guess one's view of the situation depends on how you look at life in general. Wallfall, you always get screwed in life I bet, and some others, well the road gets bumpy but that is life go with the flow. Getting on a message board and complaining isn't going to help. Sure, letting others know there are field issues is certianly ok, but the manner in which you approach this topic seems a bit childish.
I guess to me, as long as there is a place for my dd to get touches I am fine. You, obviously not. Hey look the bright side, you aren't on here complaining about your dd's lack of playing time because the coach thinks Suzy's mom is hot with big boobs, or that your coach isn't getting paid, or arrested, or any number of the issues posted ont his board. Your life isn't that bad, pull the big boy pants up and move on.

Re: Liverpool FC
Well done on your last post though, Wallfall. It only took you two pages and 15'ish posts to get there, but now there is at least some sense to it all. For future reference, the trick is to START with the post that clearly lays out your complaint and the THEN call everyone idiots and morons when they don't understand your reasoning. Otherwise, you become the idiot and moron. I envision a very short, balding man leaving nasty emails for the DOC and cc'ing them to everyone in the club. And I am truly sorry about how McDonald's has shafted you. I'll never buy their Egg McMuffins again.

go99 wrote:Okay got it. Sounds like you are dealing with a common ntx soccer issue. Not sure why your coach doesn't just get and indoor place to practice. I have had that done at Liverpool, solar, and fcd. The COACHES that are more proactive have practice and the poor me this is a chance for me not to work coaches don't. So maybe the club told the parents directly this or that but at the end of the day if the coach wanted to have practice he could
Agree it is a very common NTX soccer problem, and often life in general.
If you rely on promises and what someone tells you they are going to do, vs what they have now, and what they have done in the past, this often happens. Do your homework, or at least research the character of the person who's promise you are going to rely on.
99 also nailed it in regard to the coaches. Our dd's have played for both types. Some always figured out how to make practice happen, even if they or the manager had to make unique arrangements. Others cancelled practices for any possible excuse. Again advance homework will usually indicate which type you are signing up with.
As we try and teach our dd's.
Life often sucks when you are the sucker.
Don't be the sucker, do your research and be prepared.

Re: Liverpool FC
Liverpool have always found us a location to practice when the fields have had to close, even when they've had to pay out of their own pocket to make it happen. They've given us 30+ indoor slots this year and have offered us various outdoor alternatives too.
Mind you, if getting to the point normally takes you as long it did at the beginning of this thread, Solar are probably still trying work out what it is you wanted.

Or possibly 'prosecution' is more applicable

If you are looking for some type of response, why not pick up the phone and give them a call. That would be the proper way to get the answers you are looking for, I can't image anyone responding to a post on a blog.

Excuse me! You're suggesting that my complaints re. Target's shoddy pre-Christmas service I made a status of on my Facebook are not going to be met by the upmost consideration of upper management!?!?
I have to rethink my corporate complaint strategies. Here I was hoping that executives trawling the social stratosphere of social networks and forums was the way to get my voice heard
