Recommendations on the Best Comprehensive Soccer Training Videos
Recommendations on the Best Comprehensive Soccer Training Videos
I was looking at a preview of the Soccer U video series and Blast the Ball video which seems to fit, but I could not really find any third party reviews. I would appreciate any recommendations you may have. Thanks.

I am looking for videos that could be used by coaches and parents alike and that are heavily slanted toward soccer techniques and skills. I would also like the training videos to be comprehensive enough to teach different ages and skill sets (u6 & up). It may be asking a lot, but ideally these videos would be able to instruct a beginner how to properly strike a ball. But also be instructive to select players on advanced techniques. Etc.

I bought Soccer U and Blast the Ball several years ago when my DD first started playing... mainly to help me since I never played soccer growing up. For me, it was some of the best money I've ever spent. My DD also loves them and will sit and watch for a bit and then run to the backyard to try what she watched.

Re: Recommendations on the Best Comprehensive Soccer Training Videos
I've found, as a general statement, that the more-focused topics end up producing the most helpful content.
For example, last week I bought "Backyard Soccer Games" and I really like it. It's short in length, the stuff is described simply with easy to follow demonstrations, and it's specific to a topic I was interested in.
I think 30 minutes is about the perfect length for a soccer video. Anything longer than that and the viewer just loses interest. Some videos can be too general, too complex, or too long. Those are the worst. I have a couple that I never even made it all the way through due to overdone diagrams and monotone narrating.
