a take away from the sad events

Hi fellow posters, in light of the events in the news, I wanted to take a few moments and tell all of you how precious your lives are. If we have learned anything from the last 24 hours, it is this: none of us know when our time will come. Trivial arguments over which team is better, which coach isn't, which fields are worthless, bad refs, bad days, pale in comparison to losing those we love.

As the holidays approach, please hug your daughters and sons a little harder. Tell everyone that you love them every day.

I know that we cannot live in fear, but we can live our lives in love. Love for our families, love for our friends, love for everyone around us.


I want all of you to know that I love each and every one of you. This board and our leagues would not be the same without you and your soccer players.
