Soccer Po Boy wrote:Sorry NoCrying, I overlooked your comment about you guys playing in DIAL this spring. This must be hard for you, especially for someone who made such a big deal about a certain team "dodging" competition last fall in SDL. Good luck this spring in DIAL, hopefully it will get your team prepared for PSA in the fall.
Great to know someone actually wastes time reading all my posts. This team has no business playing against the top tier teams. We are not ready. Im a realistic parent. Im as true as the come. DIAL is a good starting point. And come fall, we will enter whatever league we can compete in.

Bc chacone and Piper are in east, and adding another 04 team with a coach that has only one team if FC Dallas website is correct. I don't know it is weird, but good all the girls went with him, at least for now. Bc I already heard at the RISE this weekend that some of the girls are training w other teams...
Ether way, good luck to FCDalStingVentus on their season this year.
On another note, there are definitely a lot of leagues for the teams to choose from.
thanks for the well wishes, we will need it. all coach can do is coach whatever players show up for practice/game. Cant control visiting other teams. players/parents should go where they feel comfortable. no shame in that. ha can count on my DD.

Okay--our team lost several players, and is left with a total of 9 for 9 v 9 play. My DD occasionally shows up to play and the rest of the time we are wondering whether we are wasting our money;
I have no real advice on leagues. The nice thing is that your girls will get lots of play time wherever they end up playing. I know you said SDL is a long drive but did you check out SSDL (6v6 I think) on Sundays as I heard good things about it this past Fall.

All of that being said, we seriously are wondering if anyone is planning on registering for CFBAL or EAL this next season, or if we should just drive over an hour (for many of our team players) to SDL. Our girls are not as a team very "with it" at the moment, but we have some skilled players and just want everyone to play in a spot with more than four other teams. Is any other 04 team considering either CFBAL or EAL?
Texas Spirit North Grey to do EAL. If like it was in the Fall, should be well over 4 other teams. There were 12 in the Fall league.

Re: Where is everyone playing in the Spring???????
EAL - why consider it
- About HALF the price of SDL - $640
- 10 games
- Great grass fields; games played at LakePark
- 3 referees per game
- Flexible schedule; games played primarily Sunday afternoons
- No roster size limitation
