From the looks of that list, we just might have some soccer this Spring!

Just reminiscing on some of the threads from last fall about which leagues were "top" ones and others who were not playing in them ie: decided to continue playing in SDL, were just "avoiding the competition" in TGPL or EAL. No one has brought this up yet, so well, here we go. Looking at the list above, looks like SDL is the way to go this Spring, right LP? I guess it was the flavor-of-the-day for some. Welcome to the real competition and good luck to all this spring.

I really have no idea why this arguing about leagues started, seems a little silly to me?

For what it is worth, what I've been hearing, as to some of the so-called top teams at least, is that many of those are playing TGPL 11v11 on Sats and then ALSO SDL Platinum 11v11 on Sunday. Depends too if they have enough players on their roster (or even want to) play 11v11 because TGPL is 11v11 only this Spring for 04's. I heard another team, for example, will play SDL gold on Sat (so they can still play 9v9) plus play SSDL on Sunday so they can play 6v6. I'm just glad there are so many options to find a good fit for teams.

Could not have said it better FieldofDreams, everything in life is cyclical even in competitive youth soccer. One season your on top and clubs are lined up to get in, the next you can't even beg them to put one foot on your fields.

Couple of questions.....
What 04 teams are playing up?
What 04 teams will be playing Sunday SDL 11v11, and saturday
9v9 or 6v6?
Who is going all out and playing TGPL and SDL?

Is this list for Saturdays or Sundays? Or both?

Yeah, I knew about for awhile now.. Fun to watch the stampede of teams all flocking back to SDL..

If a team had the capability and didn't play TGPL last fall, they missed out on some great competition. This spring it looks like SDL Platinum is the place to be on Sunday and TGPL Gold is the place to be on Saturday.

From looking at the 03 Forum, DT South, Fever Red, and FC Dallas Premier are playing up in the Sunday PTCL League

Now let's see how they slice the teams up..hopefully not based on politics, but that may be too much to hope for.

..or maybe some had the capability, but just weren't invited..club just didn't quite have the right name..lol

Hey Deep, remember this: "After Juve and DeLeon start handing out Ls this discussion will be closed" I'm still waiting for that to happen..lol I been holding that in for 2 months, just couldn't stand it any longer, had to let it out, starting to come out of winter hibernation. No disrespect though, I'm just clowning..

What can I say, I'm an oracle. I felt like I was missing out not making wild, unsubstantiated claims with everyone else. I won't do it again though.
