American Eagles - 00 Girls White North

Met an amazing coach last night, Melissa Garrett, who coaches the American Eagles - 00 Girls White North team. Would love to know more about her team and her coaching style.

Sounds like you already spoke to her. If you havent already, you can ask her your questions.

Ask her if you can observe a practice session or two. You can learn a lot there just by spending 45-60 minutes watching her train her team.

You can learn more by watching her in a game or two. How does she treat the kids when the team is losing? Find out if they are in a tournament in the next few weeks.

Obviously, if you're committed to another team right now, your DD can train with her in June, but if you cant wait until then, get a release to practice or guest play in a tournament or two (assuming DD is invited).

Finally, ask her what her favorite BPL team is and why. You can weed out a lot of jerks and ignoramuses by asking that question.

Hmmmm... It appears TFC-American Eagle-Sting North couldn't capitalize this weekend on Grado's Andromeda loss to move into 2nd place... And a momma bear isn't happy. Garrett's never been considered a silent force on the sideline... And less so during a loss. I don't think the original purpose of the thread was to actually gather constructive criticism.

I'm not sure what where this post is going....hasn't Mellisa handed (abandoned?, forced to give?) this '00 team over to her husband (Aaron). To find out more about Mellisa the coach maybe it would be interesting to find out why she lost this team.

That might be the most simple minded post I have ever read here

On the Next Episode of NTX U-13 D2 Soccer Drama
The corporate intrigue, mysterious characters clash in the eternal fight between Soccer Good vs Soccer Evil, continues...

-Will Guest's (aka "moma bear") DD recover from the confusion created by the Sideline OverCoaching Attack? Will she be able "to tune out and play the game" ever again? Will therapy be needed or is love enough? Can Moma Bear ever forgive the coach for the damage committed upon her cub? Will the Coach ever learn moma bear's true identity?

Will Anarchy ever be allowed back into his bed, his house again? Will he ever have any married friends again?

-Will the mysterious Tex-Gator reveal more information pertaining to the bombshell that, MG could NOT have been the individual on the U13 side line, who witnesses allege was Sideline OverCoaching. It was, IN FACT, MG's husband-Aaron-in disguise (swag?) posing as MG!! Unbeknownst to the spectators at the game, MG had "handed (abandoned? Forced to give?)" the team to her husband at an earlier date! What evil forces are there at work that could keep a coach from a team she had taught for years? Mr. T-Gator, we breathlessly await more details!

-Will the Coach (whichever Garrett it was) seized by the bout of Sidline Overcoaching (better known as "SO"), seek counseling or is it simply a symptom of coaching 13 yr olds? If not, is it treatable?

-Will IAKM's endorsement of Coach Grado help him win the mysterious Best Coach election? Aren't he and Noob worried that Boba "Seven" Fet might disintegrate them in their sleep?

Will LH D2's 3rd ranked team ever win another game? Will the Good Coach "with a fairly good perspective as far as a professional coach goes", ever get her Butterfly wings and Bee sting back?

Will this be the only thread that InaB never commented on?

The only comment I can possibly add is that there was word that a very odd looking woman with a four o'clock shadow was seen picking out soccer shorts at Academy. She kept yelling kick the ball, kick the ball at the sales girl in a strangely baritone voice. Further, it was said that as she left the store, she fell off her soccer cleat platforms. (You know I can't resist a challenge Rabbit!)

Oh, oh, oh....I know the answer to the last question!!!

But what I really want to know is, why did she kill JR? And what did she have against Gilligan?
