I kept waiting for something, or anything, to happen. Beckerman was OK in the middle but didn't do anything to justify more time when the full squad is assembled. At first I liked Gatt as he tried to break free a couple times (I liked his aggressiveness) but he avoids his left foot and shouldn't be playing from that side of the field. The defense was solid but not really tested much to prove anything.

I see NO improvement as of yet. Hopefully, they'll look at the Mexico game tonight and take a few pointers.

It seems the coach (and players) had no plan, or if they did they couldnt execute the plan, to unlock a team determined to park the bus and rely on DeRo for their only attacking option. I dont think it reflects MLS style, necessarily.
Just basic attacking principles to break down a compact D: move the ball, change the pace, up the tempo, switch sides, one touch, combination passes, etc. Heck, our DDs know this dont they?
