"n+1" has always meant 1 more than at least half of the roster size. since you cannot have half a player, n for 15 is 8, therefore n+1 is 9.
LHGCL definition of "n+1" and the 75% rule requires rounding fractions up.
Curiously, PPL mentions "n+1" for byes but does not define it.
