High school scores?
High school scores?
I know DFWVarsity has most scores but I don't see any standings, stats etc for soccer.

Re: High school scores?
Just curious I have a lot of free time I like to check score after games and to see how friends teams and players are doing.

Do you really have to ask?

Southlake Carroll has 7. I think Plano West has at least 10 probably more.

Or maybe their club coach should?
They did win State last year under a first year coach. Plano is the hub of the north Texas Soccer Universe and with 1200 kids per class they have twice the talent to choose from as a mere Southlake Carroll thats why they win State 1 out of every three years. I dont think any other 5A team (other than Plano High pre Plano West)has more than one title. The reason they dont win more is they can only figure out how to play 11 at a time so If your top eleven are good enough you have a chance.

The reason they did not win more previously was the prior coach alienated most of the better players.

He didn't play one player a few years ago in a playoff because she missed practice time while at a U-18 national camp.
Plano West should be the favorite to win again this year. Their new coach gets it.

Uncle U, you are getting old so let me put it in simple terms.
That means:
LH D1 = LH D1
LH D2 = LH D2
ECNL = ECNL,
but when they go to HS, LH D1 = LH D2 = ECNL............almost.
I think somewhere during the transition from Club to HS there is a certain magical transformation which puts everything in equilibrium. I am not sure if that works in reverse too.

How dare you compare an ECNL player to the lowly riff raff of LH D1 or D2. Don't you know that even the ECNL bench players are superior to all other forms of athlete, and those who remain in LH just plain suck? After all, the ECNL teams get to regularly play the best that Texas (and Tulsa) has to offer... which somehow makes for much better competition than what is offered locally. Right?

The Truth
You are about 98% correct. 2% margin of error should be considered!Xara wrote:Pele98 wrote:Uncle Numanga wrote:DrSoccer wrote:Many girls playing at D1 or D2 LH are almost equivalent to most ECNL players as far as HS is concerned, so a roster with all club players will be pretty good.
