You're so right KKD, quite frankly all this "helping out" nonsense is out of control. The lines are so blurred I can't keep track of who is with who from week to week.

Understandable. But what about the kid that wants to play a tournament but her team isn't playing. Or in one instance, if she came from a team that played two leagues but is now on a team that plays in only one league. Or, heck idk. I do see your points. It's almost impossibly to get a true identify of the teams we play. Sometimes it makes for an interesting game, unless your expecting to play a team to see how your team has progressed.

Player being invited to guess play will continue to happen. There is no need to cry over spoiled milk. Deep inside, its more of the parents wanting to see the team move up in ranking than worrying about who is playing out there against their daughter's team.

I say the best thing to do is just win the game regardless of who is playing. If its tough now, wait until stronger players jump to more competitive teams and you're playing girls with higher skill sets.

I agree with you Feet, but I can also understand where they are coming from.

Don't get me wrong Sweet & Dub, I don't see anything wrong with guest playing every now and then or letting your DD see what else is out there. I'm talking about coaches who have no shame in stacking the deck for a win. You play a team one month and then you think your playing the same team a month later and they show up with Yul Brenner and the Magnificent Seven.

And why is that important in academy soccer?

Keeping track of who is with who is not the point. That statement was made for emphasis. The point is in my previous post (Manificent Seven).

LMAO. Sheets the problem with your reference is that most on here are probably too young to know who the Magnificent Seven were unless they just happen to be a retro spaghetti western junkie.

Or maybe deep inside, its some of the parents/coaches on the lesser skilled/talented big club teams not wanting to see their team lose to a more skilled/talented little club team, or to a more skilled/talented team from another club period. I agree the best thing to do is to just win the game regardless.

Sometimes my DD goes by the girls playing and not the team name. Some girls looks fwd to playing against. As for me, I enjoy when she plays and has fun. I think it's good that these girls can jump on a team and play well with them. She adjust to the style of the game/team.
