Re: U9 SDL Platinum scores
I say the best thing to do is just win the game regardless of who is playing. If its tough now, wait until stronger players jump to more competitive teams and you're playing girls with higher skill sets.
I agree with you Feet, but I can also understand where they are coming from.

And why is that important in academy soccer?

I'm talking about coaches who have no shame in stacking the deck for a win. You play a team one month and then you think your playing the same team a month later and they show up with Yul Brenner and the Magnificent Seven.
LMAO. Sheets the problem with your reference is that most on here are probably too young to know who the Magnificent Seven were unless they just happen to be a retro spaghetti western junkie.

Deep inside, its more of the parents wanting to see the team move up in ranking than worrying about who is playing out there against their daughter's team. Or maybe deep inside, its some of the parents/coaches on the lesser skilled/talented big club teams not wanting to see their team lose to a more skilled/talented little club team, or to a more skilled/talented team from another club period. I agree the best thing to do is to just win the game regardless.
