Dallas Texans

Between games at the Lightning showcase my daughter and I stopped by to watch a Texans game. In the first five minutes I was an extremely aggressive player throw 4-5 elbows toward the head/face of opposing players. Later in the half one of those elbows connected to the face of unsuspecting player resulting in a gruesome injury. The ref did not see what happened and did not take action. I am extremley disappointed in the coach for not taking action as it was clear to everyone on the sidelines what had happened. This kind of action should not be tolerated by a coach, club or a parent. Always had respect for the Texans as a club until now.

Which age group?

Really.....they let you play?? And your daughter watched?

and who was watching the kid while she was engaged in this Jui Jitsu?

If it is U12, then why are you posting your comment in the U13 (00) group?

Also, I think you might be a little naive about how aggressive & physical competitive soccer becomes as the girls get older. If you want perspective, go watch an U15 ECNL match.

I have seen many ENCL games and have never seen anything like what I saw that day making your "naive" remark rather presumptuous. An intentional blow to the face that caused a serious injury is not aggressive or physical play, it's dirty play. If you want your kid to play a sport like that, take the cleats off and give them some gloves.
