Rev. vs Solar cancelled because no one could figure out how to turn on the lights on one end of the field. Game was to start at 6:30. Game Cancelled 7:30 The season that does not want to end.

I suggested PK's but they wouldn't go for that. Having the girls out in the cold for 2 hours didn't help anyone's spirits either. I did feel bad for the Waco families.

I dont think you guys are going to finish!! That is terrible about the lights. I heard there was a field perfectly playable but they waited so long to make a decision that a rec. game was about to start on it.
What was the score of the SR/Spirit game?

Fall standings assuming SR beat Spirit last night.

Some of the Rev girls actually live even father south than Waco so they end up having to take the kids out of school early on those 6:30pm game days just to make it there on time. Plus having to leave work early to pick up the kiddo.
After going thru all that and the long drive to find out at 7:30p that your 6:30p game is cancelled really sucks...

There is no reason why the balance of the D1 games cannot be played next week.
Scheduling the make-up games for spring should NOT even be a consideration due to the possibility of teams losing/adding players before the start of spring season.

We've just been told that the Rev vs Solar game will not be played until Spring. It will be scheduled as the first game of the Spring season.
The other remaining game has been scheduled for next week. Hopefully the weather will hold out so Solar won't have 2 games added to their Spring season.

I'd be shocked if they get this game in tonight.
Not sure if I look at the two additional Spring games as a positive or negative...definitely out of the norm, though.

Rumour has it that LH doesn't think that there is a difference between being seeded 3rd or 4th for State Cup. Which I say hogwash!!!!!!!!! Of coarse it matters just not to them. There is no reason why we can't finish before the end of the year.
