I'm gonna try something new. For those who can't be there, I'll broadcast live coverage of the #grubbhigg game this Saturday starting at 1:15 pm central time.

The kind of live broadcast will be on Twitter. Follow @texmexradio on twitter and you should get play by play tweets of this epic 02 match. Next best thing to being there.

We will see if I can get my ducks in a row and make this work. I'm a neutral fan of both these teams so I'll do my best to report it as I see it.

North Texas Soccer has officially gone to a whole new level of crazy.


I can see it now:

1: "Sports fans, welcome to the biggest match-up in 10 year old girls soccer on the continent"
2: "This is one for the ages, a real doozy"
3. "We will see some running, some tripping, some shoving, and maybe even a few toe-pokes into the goal"
4. "The excitement of the over-involved parents has reached a boiling point"

Although, with the money splashed around by NTX parents, you could probably make a nice nickel by starting a service and putting games on each week so parents can read tweets about their little Mia's and Abbys.

TEx mex radio PM me if serious . I can get it broadcast on satelitte -so it can be picked up via computer (might b little choppy but not too bad) then the commentary can start. Will need orginal camera at game but I can do the rest.

Sending tweet updates is all I'm going to do. Nothing more ambitious than that.

Sorry I couldn't make it there but I got surprise call to go into work. I'll try this idea again during the state cup tournament in a few weeks.

FCd scored first beautiful long shot from their star player.
Texan had winf first half and had more offensive opportunities
Going into second half it was 1-0 FCd
Scored scrambled loose ball goal
Second half little center forward made great play n scored beautifully for txn-
Texans led most of second half . To me FCd had some offensive oppty with the wind but txn had many against the wind .
With 6 min to go a mis clear and a wide open player led to second FCD goal. Looked as if it surprised the keeper. Certainly surprised defense. Txn pushed hard until end and had a few nice runs but no goals. End 2-2
Both coaches calm- parents calm .

Agree for most part w above synopsis.
Have to praise both teams for not giving up when they were behind . Even up until last minute - they were making hard runs to goal.
