Shame on you parents

I have a dd in select so I shouldn't even be in this forum but after witnessing a particular coach's actions and his parents pure stupidity I just have to say something. I went to watch my 6 yr old niece play and there was this moron of a coach on the sideline just going insane on these poor little girls. I witnessed him snatch one off the field who I can only assume was his daughter and heard him calling kids sorry and telling them that they didn't belong in academy playing that way. He made at least 3 of his players cry on that sideline. Then to make matters worse he hurled a can of whatever he was drinking onto the next field in anger after his team was scored on! Parents on that field gave him an ear full since he almost hit a little boy in that game. He coaches an orange team I don't know the name but this guy is trash. Primetime should have this guy banned from their league and the parents who allow this are just as stupid as he is. He's obviously a rec type coach seeing that the back of his orange shirt read "coach Steve". What a tool!

Is Steve a new alias for DM? Is he rebuilding with 07s? Tell me quicktrip,I mean 7-11, were any trashcans assualted or soccer moms groped after the game?

Report him to Primetime, figure out which team he belongs to and report him to the management there as well. Parents, don't stand for this crap with your 6 yr old. I know if my husband saw his 6yr old little girl getting yelled at like that by a grown man, I would be bailing him out of jail shortly after.

Coach Steve sounds like a real winner.

How long before someone posts that your niece's team must have lost and that you are all just sore losers?

Played in PT tourney on a field next to an orange team with a screaming maniac that sounds like this clown. He had 2 fat, non-athletic teenagers on the sideline with him helping to scream at the 5-year olds. He was particularly hard on one little girl who we assumed was his dd - because no other parent in their right mind would have stayed to finish the game.
The great irony was we looked at their website after the tourney and it had Bible verses all over it! Go figure...

Racetrack/QuikTrip/7-11, there is a 'Coach Steve' with Tigers FC that play in Primetime I believe...may even have orange uniforms. He has an account on here(it's Coach Steve). PM him. Look in 07 history for the thread 'Merry Christmas from Tigers FC'... ask him yourself if you want. Of course per PT they won this weekend and weren't scored on. They did lose the prior week though.

Primetime always has officials at every game, so very easy to report this type of behavior. What did the referees do?

Actually I remember the can throwing incident. I coached in that game. It was a close back n forth game. I had to tell the parents of the team on the next field that it wasn't me who threw the can. It was a few weeks ago though we ended up tied 2-2 I believe. The parents threw the can back and Steve apologized to the guy who tossed the can back.

According to the club's site, Coach Steve also serves as the club's president.

I didn't see anything in the Tigers FC mission statement about making little girls cry...

I remember this group at a tournament. In a game against a very raw team, they were winning 6 or 7 nothing and the parents were screaming for blood wanting for their daughters to shoot from about 25 yards away. And when they scored, it was like America.. 'merica, had just won the world cup. Score turned 8-0 and chest bumps and fist pumps galore from both sidelines.

this guy leads a totally kick ass life. on weekends in addition to 'coach', he sometimes goes by 'rock' while "rockin' the low tones"

Jokes aside, I'm sure he's a very nice guy, but if the above incidents are not one offs, that's cause for concern. Not much we can do about it - if his parents like him and the team, that's as they say... that. As always, winning games sweeps a lot of stuff under the rug when it comes to inappropriate behavior.

One-off or not, if this is credible, he has no place in youth sports. If a coach puts his hands on my kid in this manner, he wouldn't be coaching much longer.
