1.) Outside Mids - lefty from DTS and right & left side mid from RASE
2.) Center Mids - Both Mids from RASE; Fever (tall blonde); Odyssey (skilled) & Solar Mid (tall)
3.) Fowards - Spirit Clark forward (does almost all scoring), Dalglish Forward (dark hair), Piper (blonde),
4.) Defense - Center defender RASE, Dalglish defenders, DTS defenders
5.) Goal Keeper - there are a few, but hard to tell at this age. Goals are large for them.

Im sure I left out a few, but this is why you can help out.. Just for fun ..

From time to time, even I - Xara - experience a fleeting glimmer of hope for humankind within the confines of youth soccer parents. Then I read a post like this... and realize the poster is serious despite the "just for fun" caveats. I'll surely awaken in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and feeling of impending doom.

Lmao...chill out...a lot of us have adopted this as a hobby simply because of the sacrifice given to make our little ones happy. Some of us are new to soccer and have become simply infatuated with the game. Inexperienced and attempting to apply logic to what we THINK we know. You remind me of that musician that loves the art of music and frown upon those who indulge for the fame and or revenue...see ya next time.

Above all else, to thine own self be true. It's not your hobby; it's your daughter's sport. Your primary job is to get her to practices/games, make sure she's enjoying it, and let the little girls play. You want a hobby? Get your own: Fishing, knitting, kite-flying or whatever. Soccer belongs to your daughter. A parent who "sacrifices" his time does not have inherent rights. Such "sacrifices" are merely part of the job description of being a parent.

Your musical metaphor escapes me. I suppose I could say you remind me of that parent of the musically gifted child who behaves more like the kid's agent. The youthful performers appreciate it much more when the parents simply show up to the recitals, applaud, and then go out to get ice cream when its done... not rush home to post on how the over-worked little savants compare to others or can somehow improve.

Don't confuse inexperience with audacity. (Although on the plus side, it did just occur to me how I might in fact truly be the most hated poster on here.)

Huh? This reason above is why 04 parents should only be aloud to post in 04 threads.

The advantadge my dd has is 2 times a week she is trying to play the ball before she loses it to that rase CB. She is fighting for inches from the RM. DT defenders are stacking up against their great forward. Their wide lefty has to find success against extremely fast defenders. Games are fun but you spend way more time in practice and who you practice with and against does matter.

Go99, thanks for the shout-out... smaller teams don't have that advantage so, my DD at least, has to work extra hard to make that kind of impact...

I look at it like I do when talking to other sideline dads. When our DD's play, we comment on/admire girls skills on other teams. Sometimes its an entire teams skills/teamwork, the speed of a defending line, or an individual's talent. It's not much different here, just a bigger group of sideline dads (and moms).

Of course soccerdad...Xara gets nauseated around other parents though. We carry a foul odor to her similar to takis and cherry icees. Can't quite stomach our presence.

Will be interesting to see how this perception will be expanded or contracted come tournament time and beyond.
