Re: Spring Kick Tournament
Pool 1 - Reds, Sting West and Lady Aztecs each play FC Dallas, Impact, and RASE 05. Neitehr the first 3, nor the second 3 play each other.
No cross-pool play during preliminary round.
It appears "Reds" may be LP Rush

Was referring to SRFC game? Heard it was 9v9. Piper should have dominated tourney being a top 10 team. Congrats to RASE 05!

Actually top 2 points totals in pool B/C Advanced (pool B had Sting west 04, Lady Aztecs 04 and Reds 04, pool C had Zap 04 (Rec team?), Impact 04 and RASE 05) and top point getter in pool A advanced then the next spot was a wildcard which Sting West received with 21 points, Piper East missed it by 1 point as they only got 20 pts from pool play.
Rumor has it Zap 04 filled in for a team that dropped out last minute possibly throwing the seeding off and hence effectively setting one team up in pool A for a disappointment of not getting to play at 8am Sunday morning, although I probably wouldn't have complained too loudly had I gotten to sleep in on Sunday.

Re: Spring Kick Tournament
Piper played well, but SRFC is a very good team. Good showing by SRFC...win against Piper and then Draw against a good Sting team to advance them to Sunday.

Re: Spring Kick Tournament
Was it one of the existing LP '04 teams, a hybrid of a couple of rosters, or an independent team?
PM me if you would like.
Thanks!

I thought I recognized some of those girls. Is there also a Reds 05 team? It looked like they were listed in one of the upcoming tournaments.

It is my understadning that the team that dropped not only selected a lower division (which was provided for in the application), they also specifically requested placement in a lower division. PYSA not only denied those requestes (even though there were plenty of teams for 2 divisions), but didn't even have the decency to let the team know that multiple divisions would not be available. But hey, they got their $$.
