The Texans and Solar both bit the dust on Saturday. The two teams who beat Solar and the Texans played in the finals, with Arsenal Elite winning 2-1.

Sounds like good games. I was also surprised to see East Lake beat Atlanta Fire in the semi's. At WAGS, that was the championship game and Atlanta just rolled over East Lake.
I guess it just depends on who shows up each game. Craziness of girls soccer!!!

The Texans game against Kickers was a disaster for DTR.

Kickers are a good team, and their center defender/GK might be two of the best I've seen.

Definitely a downer weekend for NTX. Texans and Solar unable to advance and Sting losing to OFC.

I definitely thought Texans would at least advance. Going into the event, their bracket looked to be the most winnable.

Knew Solar would have a tough game with East Lake Arsenal but thought Solar might tie them in bracket and end up advancing on tiebreakers.

Sting losing to OFC (PKs or otherwise) really surprised me.

As a group, we'd better get it together. While LH is a deep league, we have to be disappointed with our results vs national talent.

Huge disapointment for DTR, maybe their biggest since going select (and that's saying something).
