After the completion of the LHGCL 2012-2013 Spring Season yesterday; Solar Gold advances to D2 where FC Dallas East has been competing. Will the seasoned FC Dallas team take the championship? Or will the newly promoted up and coming freshman team Solar Gold take the win? Kick off is at 4:30, best of luck to both teams!

Proud of SG. 6 games this weekend and final was nip and tuck. Ball on FCD end for much of the game, but we didn't find the net.

Kudos to FCD-know they were gassed, but they played tough.

Excellent tournament for SG-only goal we gave up in the 5 games was in the final on a long chip/cross that found the back post.

SG had possession and played on FCD's side of the field for the majority of the game. Very tough game, the only goal of the match was, IMO a lucky chip. But, a goal is a goal. Overall very good match going into D2, this game could have gone either way. Good luck next season.

FCD mounted a couple of attacks, albeit sluggishly, FCD(E) didn't dominate. Solar Gold was faster, bigger, and more aggressive. It was a long weekend, maybe FCD had an off game, next season will be telling.

I can't speak for Rudder, but in the game I watched, Yu Darvish struck out 12 and the Rangers won 6-0.
